Great video pal. I LOVE Eaten Alive. I spoke with Tobe Hooper about this film. Especially the lighting and how he created the colour tones. Such a gem of a movie. Keep up the fantastic videos pal. Great to chat movies

Nice collection man, love Eaten Alive - one of my all time favourite Hooper films. The Driller Killer is one I quite enjoyed also, I went in knowing it’s more of an Art House flick, but a lot of people go in thinking it’s a slasher haha! But still really enjoyed the vibe of that one. My God I freaking love Island of Death ‘Destination Understanding’ man it never gets old 😂😂

I nearly picked up Count Yorga in the Arrow sale but held off, will keep a lookout for it, really enjoyed Coffy so i need to see the rest of her films, i agree with you regarding Rollerball, expected more, My brother rented The Burning and it always stuck with me, great film, thanks for the video buddy.
The first Count Yorga is REALLY good, second one not so, but if you can get it cheap it's a great buy!! For me Coffy is best but I havent seen all her movies 🤔yeah Rollerball, was a bit (social commentary) for me, that's why I thought the remake might address that........boy was I wrong 😳🤣🤣 The Burning seems to be a favourite of most people you talk too 👍many thanks for your great comments again Bushman 🤩🤩

Man, if the principal of your school (or parents) would of found out that your teacher showed you "The Burning" I imagined he would be in a load of trouble! I have the Uncut / Unstamped vhs pre-cert by the way, and I love it - sometimes better than watching the blu ray for nostalgic reasons. Great Arrow collection! I have to buy more, like Microwave Massacre - been meaning to pick that one up. As for Island Of Death, with it being so perverted and sicky I was shocked to see the BBFC finally granting it an uncut release. That was a good movie too, a bit heavy but really well made, and great locations of Greece in the mid-70's. Do you own Slugs?- Arrow has really done a good blu ray of that - really recommended.

About some new security robots that start killing people in a mall. The other title is Sssssss? Yeah that’s the name. About killer snakes. Last thing. Microwave Massacre is a classic, I remember back in the day, some VHS boxes of that movie had like little working LED lights on the microwave. Really cool touch and probably rare to find out these days. Cool man.

Nightmare City is great, a real "guilty pleasure" for sure, silly yes, but actually one of my favourite films of the 80's. I was born in 1971 so I grew up during the 80's but I have ZERO nostalgia for big blockbusters of the era,to be honest I really dislike films like Back To the Future, Ghostbusters etc.
You and I think very much a like! I could sit through movies like Nightmare City many times but your average Hollywood 80's blockbuster I find very mehhh! Ive seen most of them but would never rewatch them....I do like Back to the Future but never watched it properly till part 2 came out....got no time for Ghostbusters either 🤮😆 yeah good call my friend 👍👍

Both Chopping Mall and Sssssss are available on BR in the U.S. The latter title is also out in HD in the U.K. on the 101 Films label i believe.
