I fought with this lid for at least 20 minutes trying to get it back together. I finally decided to search for instructions on the internet. Found your video and voila…got it back together. Thank you soooo much!

I notice on the hydro-flask video, they turned off their comments. I can only imagine why. I've been rebuilding jet engs. for over 40 years, and this stupid lid is just unforgiving. Thanks for the refresher.

There’s one more clear silicone gasket in there and it’s a pain to get out. Look on the underside of the lid with the carry handle and you’ll see it. I use a toothpick and it’s still hard to get out.

Love the video, better than HF's video for the gasket, freezing and zooming. The gasket is one-way, not symmetrical. I have not seen an official video or instruction on which way the gasket is to be installed, or if it matters. Either way, my lid leaks like a sieve.

    • @TastyTriesandAsianEyes

No room for a straw in this lid unfortunately. But in their flip cap lid you can or there is the lid option with the straw built in too!
