Well... I fully expected this to be absolutely crap, like one of those simpering, nauseating acoustic covers of cracking tunes that turn up on adverts for sanitary pads, life insurance and John Lewis.

The intro of this cover reminded me of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Then yesterday I watched a video of Bernard Butler where he said the inspiration for Animal Nitrate came from Smells Like Teen Spirit :)

Mind you, I was a bit unsure where to stand after the first number of times of hearing this cover, but the more I listen to it the more psychedelic it sounds. It fits. I don't like Basement's cover of the song, too fake and crap. This is the only good cover of a British Pop-Rock classic.
