- R2-D2 Hinges. I designed some hinges for the doors in my R2 body in Fusion 360. This is the proof of concept design so far.

Hey I’m working on a project something like this too!! Are u good with servo or dc motor??
Im not the OP but I'd use a DC motor for this simple task. There's really no need for the added weight, cost or complexity of programing that a servo motor comes with. You'r just lifting a panel so keep it simple and save the servos for the wheels where you may actually need fine controls and tight timings.
