Lost Signal is absolutely amazing for building up transcendence. It's for slowing down and ticking groups and majors while switching to a light weapon to get your rainbow grenades as fast as possible.
It actually works with glacial grenade on prismatic titan actually
It damages real quick on the shatter effect and actually chunks the darkness bar
Main use case for me is gonna be ease of use proccing bait and switch with an exotic primary instead of Witherhoard
That solar rocket sidearm is about become the forbearance of rocket sidearms.
Beacon rounds incandescent is gonna go so hard, replacing my minitool and zhaoulis immediately
We just need an exotic heavy sidearm the call, the solar, then the heavy

If you don't have the episode, you can still get 2 of these weapons for each powerful in onslaught, including red borders!
How do you get the episode?

The one buff the Lost Signal really needs is access to Chill Clip. If that thing could freeze enemies, it'd be a top meta pick for sure for stuff like Grandmasters.
It seems like the rocket sidearm and pulse rifle will be released next act
Lost signal absolutely JUICES the darkness transcendence bar, I love it on my light damage heavy builds
The Origin trait should get looked into more. It's not just a pool, it does a mini dragonfly elemental explosion as well as dropping a pool. It also procs on rapid kills on red bars but anything tougher will proc it on every kill. This explosion (not the pool I believe) can also proc things like Shoot to Loot.
Don't sleep on this origin trait. It's becoming the primary reason the scout rifle is replacing my new Nullify and crafted Abyss Defiant as my go-to Healclip + Incan weapon. Incandescent rapid kills will proc the origin trait (Voltshot on the hand cannon sadly does not). That origin trait adds a ton to these weapons that should not be ignored.
Veiled threat can reach 85 range with fragile focus and range masterwork, add counterbalance and headstone and you’ll have an auto that leaves Crystals everywhere
The area denial gl is definitely something you need to figure out the quirks of. The pools don’t stack so it’s best used on as wide of an area as possible. It doesn’t deal basically any initial burst damage so don’t expect it to instantly gib the enemies you spray but the total damage over time means it gives a LOT of dark transcendence energy. I’m talking 1/3 to 1/2 of your energy required depending on how many ads you catch with it. It’s best used to either spray a large group of ads, add a little bonus dps to bosses or as area denial in front of enemy spawns. One thing to note is that there is a glitch. Reverberation doesn’t appear to work on it yet

@@demonjoe yeah. Pair it with any kind of light dot effect from abilities specifically(Helios works really well) to get rapid transcendence procs. Spray over a crowd to weaken them in high end pve or kill in lower end. The destiny ai isn’t actually capable of seeing the pools so it’s not really denying the enemy from advancing. But it will really soften them up without spending tons of ammo
Veiled Threat with Loose Change/Threat Detector + Headstone is a BEAST
Re Corrasion, Eddy Current got a serious glow up and is S-tier in Arc builds IMO. When you're Amplified, which is super easy on Arc builds, you get the massive reload speed buff without even having to sprint.
The castor sword becomes a lot more fun if you pair it with the exotic sword with the gjallorhorn perk

Lost signal has been very powerful in PVP for me. In duos, i consistently found that i could trick the enemy team into pushing worse angles by firing the GL in whichever hallway they wanted to push from. Easy way to force engagements to happen on my terms

Corrasion has Eddy Current which they recently buffed. Very fast reload if you're amplified or sprint 1.5sec
Eddy / Voltshot might be crazy good.
While weaker than zephyr, ill omen is the only non-event stasis sword that can get the relentless/whirlwind combo. Could be beneficial for folks during stasis surge weeks against certain bosses.
That’s my first drop n I’ve currently got over 1k kills with it.
yoo nah cold steel on the ill omen is crazy good and probably the only roll ill end up keeping, its self procs a freeze on each heavy strike, i rly with i could get it with a dmg perk but honestly kinda wanna see what attrition orbs does, bc that goes off hit count and casters hit alot with the heavy
feels weird that I'm caught up on echoes red borders for now
For ill omens, the wolfpacks from ergo sum count as damage for whirlwind blade and chill clip, double caster frame loadout

Gonna be real I think envious assassin is a terrible perk on lmgs. It’s your ad clear. So why would you deliberately not use it to overload it?
I always miss out of the seasons that have the best weapons😂. I take breaks from time to time and come back, yet miss out on the seasons with the best weapons
Honestly i'm looking forward to testing deconstruct on the new solar mg. Could be a real slapper.

Veiled Threat does look very cool. I wish it got better perks.
I’m gonna craft Veiled Threat with collective action. With the Stasis changes, that’s basically consistent 20% damage
I really enjoy the scout rifle and the Lost Signal GL so far. On the Scout, I have DL + OS. My best, Lost Signal has QD + VW... love them both. The scout has an amazing scope and reload (especially with a reload speed masterwork).
Lost Signal is amazing for keeping Tormentors and Subjugator away. It's also great in a DPS rotation for the extra bit of damage. 🍻
9:50 you gain 2 extra rockets. Increase in total smg, a substantial one at that
Note that with corrasion, eddy current got a massive buff and now is kinda A+ tier
i use lost signal to get my darkness meter up. it does it pretty fast
On the Pulse don't sleep on the updated Eddy Current!
I've had lost signal crafted since it dropped! Auto loading holster + vorpal for boss dps! Lead from gold and one for all adds and everything else! I use it for extra free dps for bosses one a free reload swap!

CHRONOPHAGE is a crafting weapon?
My first drop of the season was a auto loading an high ground an it stomped on the campaign I had a totally different experience I way over 5k kills an I solo legend my campaign and I only used this paired with a red death an I got lucky with a stasis linear with back up plan an chill clip that loadout made doing legend solo possible

Only argument for the sword is cold steel works with wolfpacks. Atleast for the slammer (way better imo) can freeze and shatter in one heavy attack with Wolfpack.

The machine gun I can see being good with solar warlock. If it acts like pre-fixed retrofit, you could pop your super, have a deconstruct + target lock combo, and have ignition after ignition.
Yeah or even for a utility roll, Deconstruct plus Killing Tally seems like it would be solid.
I have the rocket crafter with clown and bipod and the the void mods in the artifact work EXTREMELY well with the new titan chest exotic hazardous propoltion. I'm doing insane damage with it. It is indeed awesome and not cope.

I disagree with veiled threat put fragile focus and headstone on it and it feels like a stasis rufus arrow head accurized and a range mastwork with fragile focus active its got plenty pf range and its shoots like a laser beam

The solar rocket sidearm is going to be insane. I still think indebted kindness is better than the call. But thats just me. And for different situations of course. I cant get off that voltshot.

I’ll never forgive Bungie for makin the Solar rocket sidearm dripfed for 40 something days (I’ll bomb their headquarters if it comes out in act 3)
The solar Machine gun I’m actually looking forward to. I wish it had reconstruction though. As far as craftable leg solar machine guns, its only the second of its kind. Aside from that, you’re basically left with unwavering duty & Avalanche, which are at the mercy of rng.
I'm just such a massive Fixed Odds guy that I don't think I'll swap for a long time tbh. I used it a ton in the Contest raid too it's just so great for addclear and ammo econ
Rapid Fire LMG’s just don’t feel good to use. I wish it was another aggressive like the pale heart one

Took a castor frame sword through 90% of the legendary campaign they’re better than you think they are especially with whirlwind blade and how it interacts with the heavy attack, you can get to 10x almost immediately. But this one is probably just worse than the one that comes from warlords ruin.
Without even watching, I know he will at least dislike the Precision frame RL and the sword.

2nd post but I don’t care… my boy, how you gon mention Krait without Subsistence/Headstone? Veiled Threat has been my go to for a good amount of content and when I’m using Still Hunt, I run Veiled Threat with Attrition Orbs/Headstone.

i feel the same, i use with shoot to loot/headstone. with prismatic hunter+ that stasis perk from artifact is so good
I personally don't like Headstone on high RPM weapons, because each bullet doesn't deal as much damage as usual and I find myself landing the final bullet on an enemy not always with a headshot (therefore not proc'ing the perk).
Not my thing, but I can see why people would still want it

this season has arguably the worst set of seasonal weapons we ever got.
You focus on pure dps and damage too much, fun and ease of use matter as well. Also variety build viability as well
Fun and ease of use aren’t really God Rolls then. Ease of use can be solved by getting better at the game, and fun rolls do not fit the definition
Umm no, ease of use definitely matters… it’s not about “ getting good” I’m talking about practical use etc.. what procs are easier to achieve etc. that absolutely matters.
