She's basically a flying Ayra with that refinement, imagine if she also had Regnal Astra

IMLR. Her Res is still better though so Glacies is a better choice.
A +Atk Fury build is way more reliable, and the Attack and Speed buff is permanent. It also helps her getting in the Desperation easily.
Lucas - that is true, but only for a player phase build. This build allows her to take hits on the enemy phase without taking an extra damage and potentially dying because of fury.
I just prefer her to not take fury damage when tanking mages and dragons.
eh caeda is better as a player phase only. fury 3 or distant counter is definitely her best a slot. and fury helps her get into desperation range easier. it also buffs her res up more allowing her to use double ploys better
Fury also helps with Def Ploy so yeah id say fury is overall better
I feel like it's better if she doesn't tank mages unless you don't have another unit on your team to do it.

Wouldn’t it be good to have Speed Ploy on the C slot? So she could outspeed more units even though it’s pretty expensive.
Depends on your team. A flier team would benefit more from flier buffs than an enemy debuff.
I think that it's great that a very accessible unit can be this useful in many modes of the game. She has everything from getting your preferred/best IV due to being a 4*/common summon to being the really good niche unit in specific match-ups. Is it worth to invest heavily and +10 her, probably not now but only time will tell. Great showcase as always Omni.

Wouldn't fury actually be her best A, it helps a lot on EP (see how you survived at 1hp against Hecotr and BK and also on many other fights being way to close), it's still good offense wise losing only 1atk and 1spd for the addition of 2dmg glacies (insane ikr), also helps to get into desp range against dragons that will barely deal dmg to her. If you get a +atk or +spd caeda it should still be pretty easy to use her wep hitting 46 spd with flier buffs, well again I feel like she truly becomes excellent in flier emblem.

Fury makes her weaker to mages. With this build she does not have the bulk to repeatedly tank magic damage, especially with fury damage on top of it. Just being a general mage tank is an aspect that I didn’t really go into in the video, but that’s why I prefer SS over fury, though fury is good too
the only caeda that i have has bad iv even though this looks fun as heck :(

I have a +3 atk+/hp- Caeda B and C skills are the same but A was replaced with darting and the seal is atk ploy.
A skill is Darting coz I don't have Swift sparrow fodder atm and there's a lot of ~40 base speed units in arena 700~715
The seal is atk ploy coz I find it more versatile as I like to have my Beruka or S!Corrin tank some attacks

Sleeping Forest Actually atk is her best boon because her atk is low and also it's a superboon. As for the bane HP is the best one in my oppinon since fighting Dragon with Lighting Breath+ Refined/Armors is gonna require def since it's melee combat,and hp is a very expandable stat so -hp is the best one.
If I didn't already commit Swift Sparrow to my Elincia then Caeda would definitely take her place. What a great unit.

Also consider using Iceberg with this, or if you're going hard into desperation moonbow is yet another alternative
i chose a + def -hp caeda over a +mt -def. I thought the +def would help her survive, don't know I haven't tested it in arena yet.

If you manage to get -hp +atk then speed ploy + dc is a better option just for a better enemy phase. Hella investment but a lot more effective in my opinion
I really prefer a +atk or +spd Shida she functions better that way. When using +spd just slap death blow on her or when + atk darting blow or if you want to double down on speed or attack do the inverse. Ofc that is for player phase only for enemy phase I prefer other units.
I used brave sword + because I had a minus speed plus attack one it works really well

Yeah I got a -Def +Spd Caeda so I went for Fury, Desp, Fortify, Def Ploy.
Good enough to make my 2 friends who have Caeda and the same IVs copy me
atk boon is nuts since she goes from 25 to 29. instead of the typical 3 stat boost.
I have a +spd H! Henry that can get 56 spd with buffs and blessings and weapon refinments and sunmoner support
Oh, I just checked my Caedas and I found out that she has two 5 star weapons now.. Interesting
if only the two 5 star caedas I pulled weren't -atk lol
I use a +atk -def +3 on my flier team, 10/10

Yes it is good. Fury, dB, lnd, and ss are the best choices, if you don’t have then attack +3 is ok too.

I have a 4* Caeda with optimal IV (+ atk - def) I think I need these type of weapon more I go through high tier in arena against those +10 merge armor units for AA.
Do you think a budget build with her weapon without refine can work in a flier emblem for AA? Like your build but fury instead of SS and Iceberg instead of Glacies.
I would use a different weapon entirely if I don’t have the refinement on wing sword. Every flier works in a flier Emblem team

Right after i built a 4*+7 caeda +atk with ruby sword+ IS decided give her an very useful legendary weapon. Sad.
Just feed her a 5* Caeda and you're good.
I pulled a -attack +speed as a free summon, I haven't even bothered to level her up did to her God awful attack
Yeah, I put life and death 3 on the bitch, and merged a 5 star, into 10 4 star versions, and she has 51 attack 44 speed and 41 hp. with 18 def 31 res.

There is no way in Hell that Caeda has enough defense to cancel Myrrh's weapon effect.

Caeda doubles because she counterattacks Myrrh, and if you waited another second, you would’ve seen Caeda’s player phase attack where she does not double Myrrh
No, I saw that.
Her weapon should work regardless, testing it against an Ayra right now, and Ayra can't double her, despite my Myrrh going on the offensive.
My caeda should have 30 defense from ward fliers and ally support. So it could just be a -def myrrh.

I think atk will help more. If didn’t have Swift sparrow, I would go death blow over darting blow.

No. Bond skills are enemy phase unless on ranged units. This build is player phase.

Absolutely. Wing Sword is not worth using without the Flashing Blade upgrade.

Thanks. I decided to also give her Def Ploy 3 in the C slot, to potentially also use attack ploy seal as well. Unsure what the better option is, but wanted the flexability. I am debating partnering her with Gunnthra as that sounds deadly to get a debuff like that, then get bonus damage with blizzard.

Swift Sparrow is still too much of a premium skill for me to drop it on someone. I'd have to settle on life and death. Still nice though.
Caeda has 25 attack at neutral. Odin with an attack boon has 25 attack. Buff Odin already.

I dunno about the one I'm trying, instead of desperation I'm trying to give her Windsweep.
Windsweep is better thanks to not being put in danger to activate desperation. Basically Windsweep is better version of desperation. And allows you to double non magic users even if you don't have +5 speed more than them so if you can spare it, go for it.
@Raiden I'm pretty sure that's not how windsweep works. windsweep causes the user to not be able to double as long as they initiate combat, vs. foe with sword, axe, lance, bow, dagger with user's spd > or = 1 vs. foe, foe can't counter, not that the user can double without needing +5 spd.

I thought that it meant that no follow up occurs for enemy unit. Glad you proved me wrong, since I would lose my Alm for completely useless build.
