Today's video is going to be about the 3 most game changing investments you can possibly make to your account. We are going to be talking about Ruan Mei, Silverwolf and Fu Xuan. These characters have a multitude of buffs, debuffs and potential availability to have the most diverse teams that can be made by sticking them with any team. These characters provide universal and enourmous buffs that allow you to save on an enourmous amount of resources and other materials that would be spent summoning and building characters that would have small or limited niches. Let me know if you are summoning for ruan mei before she leaves and also if you are looking forward to the reruns for these other characters.

I think Seele is over rated and is beaten by QQ E4+ with decent rng, but other than that, I agree mono quantum is going to be a future proof team for f2p and low spenders who cannot pull every character.
I think they are Jingliu, Silver Wolf and Fu xuan. But Ruan mei is indeed a good argument.

The list is:
Fu Xuan. Brokenly OP sustainer, that gives massive damage mitigation, as well as big heals for the team.
Bronya. Her ability to give another turn synergises perfectly with the Hypercarry meta, combined with huge damage buffs. My Bronya is only E2S5, and she's still better than my E6S5 Ruan Mei.
Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae. His second Eidolon is so ridiculous, that it makes him completely broken. He has the highest damage multipliers in the game, and the second Eidolon negates his skill point demands.
Those three + Tingyun or Ruan Mei can effortlessly demolish anything in the game. No other team comes close.

Fu Xuan is really immortal outside of swarm 5. I beat conundrum 12 with her and she was so pivotal in surviving. She's just a beast among beast.

I've never had issues with her in Swarm 5, and that was long before I even got all the path blessings. I wasn't even half-way thru them
i got her on e1 lol i just want lynx at that time and hoyoverse gave me another fu xuan at 20 pulls that 20% crit damage buff made my jingliu happier
I really wonder how people without her manage to do conundrum. I was at conundrum 2, using huo huo instead of her and my characters died after two hits from trash mobs. At that point the abundance path really doesn't save you without a good preservation character.
Fu Xuan is the only character I am super sad about missing 😢

I couldn't manage to pull Imbibitor Lunae when he came out and ended up getting Fu Xuan through pity. I went ahead and got her E1 and LC. She's imo the best character in the game.

I would say while silverwolf is not as valued as she was on launch I would argue she is the best debuffer for the hunt path character
If we get even more characters that scale off of # of debuffs like Dr. Ratio, then she could see a bit more value too. Also, with Sparkle on the horizon, we haven't even seen the full potential of mono quantum yet either
She is the best Nihility in the game. Her biggest drawbacks are her lack of f2p options and how her build is heavily limited if you don't have Eidolons.

@@Inktrailler Yes. Speed, Break Effect, and especially Effect Hit Rate are her most important stats (especially at E0).
I don’t really think silverwolf is that crazy anymore. Especially compared to the other two.

@@flatdefgod2960 even then, i cant bring her into most fight because multiple phase bosses reset their debuff after each phase, become immune in some cases, then summon adds for you to seethe
I'd say she's just a nice to have unit now. Conundrum 12 had some moments where I needed imaginary weakness on plane 3, but RNG screwed me. Running Silver Wolf, especially with Ruan Mei, let me make use of my advance forward on break blessings.

People do tend to forget that SW does more than just implant weekness. Every attack she does implants a debuff on a character. Her ult dumps a load of debuffs at once, supporting attack units that work on debuffa added. She also has cracked weakness break. When I use her talent to enter battle, the little mobs just die to it 😆 Don't get me wrong, Pela is also awesome. I'm glad I have both, as I can cover both sides of MoC and pick and choose which is best for single team content 👍🏻
My e1s1 Fu Xuan is an absolute GODDESS. She solo sustains, adds HP crit rate and crit damage to the team AND heals the team upon entering a new wave/battle. Her ult also has decent break. She is my favourite character and I don't see her ever becoming irrelevant to my account.
My Ruan Mei is still being built. However, ahe is already showing her potential. I'm loving her with my also still being built Xueyi, but her ability to enhance dual dps is the most enjoyable part to me 👍🏻

As a PS5 player, I can't wait to get Fu Xuan on her rerun. She's my #1 priority over any character including new banners.

Honestly I think this is a good thing: this game is ultimately a money spending game, so it makes sense that these 5stars are the best at what they do

That logic led me to believe SW is one of the best characters in the game. The only reason why I can skip IL and Jingliu, even though they are considered the best DPS at release, is SW. Because of her, I can afford to pull for Lady Fu and her LC without swiping. SW indirectly saves me money in a money spending game.
not really, i've played this game without spending a penny and I have 2 of the big 3 characters.
I was just about to write a comment about how relevant their alternatives are still, but the fact of the matter is that these are the most Universal and Effective units in their roles. I'm speechless and I'm sad Fu Xuan dropped during my break from the game :( I'm actually very behind, but Ruan Mei is making the return grind a little easier

One thing i like about silver wolf is that on top of me saving materials for building characters for certain weaknesses, I also save a ton of resources with my relic builds, I got 5 quantum dps sets i can just slap on anyone and they become a dps with silver wolf due to the genius quantum 4 pc set bonus
It's the bias, BUT since my SW is fully decked out at E6S5 she is still one of the best in my team since she also works as a secondary DPS. Profits from Ruan Mei and essentially buffs both herself and whatever other DPS there is in the team. Plus with RM, Breaking got a lot more important again. Though when it comes to breaking, characters like Lady Fu are phenomenal.
Anyone who says Fu Xuan isn't the clear best solo sustain doesn't have her and is coping, or has her and forgot to put defensive gear on her.

Reminds me of how much people were coping about her being “bad” and worse than Luocha during her release, there was way too much doomposting about her kit and now look where we are
Lol, tha din last long, it's clearer now tha she is good bu every sustain has a niche, an healers can be better in certain situations an so can shielders, specifically the big 4 sustain are all equal really an if you need more proof not knowing the situation, some enemies completely counter her, maybe she can barely clear them bu it's hard

The fact you can use silverwolf fu xaun ruan mei and Jing lui as a team is something
I won't recommend fu xuan on jingl iu team for longer runs because she drains a lot of hp as time passes by, although fu xuan has heals it won't be enough for longer runs. she is good with her if the battle ends quickly.

@@allaint.9723tbf a good built jinglu can easily finish the game quickly for Fu Xuan to sustain without a problem. Huo huo is still a better sustain for jinglu imo.
I’ve been running Jing Lui with fu all the time. I do have her signature though, so I just have to survive one wave instead of the whole fight. It might be difficult with pure fiction depending how the wave is.
for ppl that don't understand, bronya advances forward 1 unit, ruan mei gives your entire team 1 extra turn for every unit every time you weakness break

best thing about hsr is that as much as there are powerful units like RM, FX and SW, their alternatives can outperform them in other game modes and/or team setups.
welt with ruan mei essentially makes enemy side to be delayed all the way to honkai star rail patch 50.0 xD
A few weeks ago i would rank Bronya as clear 2nd spot, but maybe the combo Silver Wolf + Ruan Mei shred too much def and res on the overleved enemies for floor 11-12 that they surpass Bronya's buffs, specially when paired with a quantum dps with the 4 piece set.

Fr..and she is quantum?Litteraly fit into the team that can fight any boss no fucks given about weakness.
Gepard still does get some use in Swarm and Gears though. Fu has some trouble tanking those hard hitting AoE nukes at torturous difficulty since she soaks up damage from the entire party.
@@ShinHakumen She's been fine for me up to Conundrum 8, but to be honest it works mostly because I keep the enemy broken to the point where they only get 3 or 4 attacks throughout the entire battle. I don't think any sustain can live through those attacks (though I don't have Gep so I can't test preservation path with him)

What i want is a character that gives enemies more units, dolls that explode or debuff enemies or something like that, it would be amazing support for erudition chars like himeko

Giving enemies free allies can also block their pesky summons
I defs agree with ruan mei and fu xuan, silverwolf is similar in that she does something unique but has limited application. Has a build around requirement of only two elements if not mono quantum, and is stuck with single target kit. Basically suffering from what all hunt units suffer from
Maybe bronya is the other top 3 because she does something unique, I wouldn’t say jingliu just cause she is the best dps but that can always change with another dps
For me, my big 3 are Xueyi, Asta, and Bronya these characters can work in most people's teams and are high A or S supporters in my opinion.
Xueyi ult makes her so versatile because she can break the enemy's weakness regardless of their elemental weakness and you can build her as a Weakness breaker, sub-DPS, or even a main DPS she will always be a good character in my opinion because she can break the enemies weakness regardless of the type
Asta, I feel also would stay relevant because she can increase her teammate's speed with her ult and increase fire characters' damages I feel she will always be the people go to support if they are running a fire damage dealer and who knows maybe in the future we get more characters that make fire type characters do more damage and I feel she will always be in thous teams until their another fire character that can give damage increase to the entire team and increase the team's speed
Bronya I also feel is always going to be in meta and is still good. Bronya can increase the damage of one character and instantly give them another turn regardless of their speed and I have seen some people making a speedy Bronya so that she can keep on pushing the damage dealer action forward and that is what makes her amazing
Xueyi and Asta eidolons are also easy to get and Bronya is an amazing 5 Star that you can get for free after the 300 multies or losing a 50/50.
Xueyi is amazing, but I still don‘t have her after spending more than 160 pulls on her banner and getting two 5 stars I didn‘t want instead…

sort of agree. Fu Xuan has been a regular on all my teams, she helps so much. f2p, glad I did not pull in three banners before her. Managed to get her and her cone.

Ruan mei indeed makes a lot of dps stronger as they get a lot of benefits from her kit to fix their issue like jy can benefit everything from ruanmei’s kit to LL

I knew everyone was saying Ruan Mei was broken, but I certainly underestimated her. I have her maybe 3/4 built and is still making a HUGE impact on my team (Topaz/Clara).
I missed out on Silver Wolf and Fu Xuan, but I absolute love the characters that are more "mess with the rules of the game" compared to the "giant beatstick" characters. They are just such a joy to play for me over hypercarries.
Hopefully I can get Fu Xuan on her repeat banner. Luocha or HuoHuo would also be nice; I need a good sustain ;_; Silver Wolf's design I think is Top Tier, but I have too many other characters built up already and don't really "need" her.
I don't think she'd replace one in the Top 3 there, but Topaz feels like an honorable mention. She really unlocks the potential for any character with a followup-attack to just do HUGE damage. Not really "game-breaking" (unless you do SU Elation Path) but certainly super unique and can't be "replaced" easily like DPS characters that can just be powercrept.

who did you have on the team with topaz & clara before ruan mei? i thought about pulling for her, but since i have tingyun with them, and bronya already if i need her on another team, i kinda slept on her. i definitely can't manage getting her this go around, but it might be nice to pick her up on a rerun.
@@JetterM Pela or Asta, depending on the situation. I didn't get a Bronya at all, and got Tingyun fairly late / didn't have anyone worth building her up for.
@@JetterM not having Ruan Mei only really HURTS if you're a break player.. Tingyun can still get the job done with Bronya advancing turns.. It's a bit slower, but it's still good as well as Asta like the OP said

fair warning with fuxuan, any massive AOE attacks can take her out in the hardest difficulty swarm and gears, so prepare accordingly with blessings for that

SW has a lot of value, but so does Bronya… depending on who you pair her with. I’m most excited about pairing Ratio and Topaz together with SW because it gives you the extra versatility in being able to break more consistently regardless of whether you start off with just fire, imaginary or quantum alone
Bronya is crazy and Imo stronger than wolf as far as "pure power". But. She is not as universal - like kafka likes her but rm is better. And he also probably doesn't want to do any path repeats on this list.
100% SW ratio seems cool and all but Topaz e1s1 is the premier comp.
I don't personally believe that SW is above other characters like pela or bronya but else of that I think Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei are absolute beasts
SW might be single target but changing enemies weaknesses and on top getting it debuffed to the point of no return is something to reckon with

However, I don’t know if you mean to but you’re trying to make it sound like SW is a bad unit to have which says more about your lack of knowledge about the game than it does about SW. the more unique units they release the better silverwolfs value is by letting you bring those unique characters to more forms of content that they might be better suited for. And while that’s not the craziest thing but will forever be an asset to anyone who has hers account. That’s all anyones saying
Big 3 so far. Black Swan has the potential if her numbers stay similar to what they ate (E0S1 on the right conditions like 87% Def shred). Adventurine could also flip FuXuen but have to wait for his soft marketing and beta info.

Even if he tries he’s going to be a true shielder, not tank like fuxuan. Basically 2 different roles, I dare dvdn say that fuxuan has more in common with path of abundance than preservation
@@santabakure6264 True but will have to see. A shielding gacha tank does sound interesting especially if they can spam their ult.
We don't know everyone they are working on so if there are other like Yanquing who don't want to be hit (except a good kit) a shielded might take the cake. But will be based on team comps, LCs and other factors. Right tool for the right job and all.

With how the leaks of release adventurine kit. big nope adventurine on geppard tier on how his shield dps works but nothing trivializes anti one shot mechanics for fu xuan. FX will still be on the top of the tier list until the game dies.
For me the replace of silver wolf which i don't have in kafka team is luka , even lukas basic attack gives debuff , i kow it is not in his kit but there is an cone which helps with that ,along with vulnerablity , bleed i hope he might work with dr ratio
This is one of the best and worst thing about Star rail (just my opinion) ,the good part you can build tons of team comp and every character has some utility even all 4 * at the same time the worst part is resources and to level up skills i really got broke in the game
Glad I have these 3, but in exchange I don't have the other good chars especially DPS like Jingliu or Dan Heng IL, also healers like Huohuo or Luocha.. 😅

Dps is easily powercreep so you should pull for whoever you like as main dps and pull for good sustain like fu xuan/ luo cha for massive QoL
To me Kafka is important cuz she makes DoT work especially when black swan comes out.
She's important for DOT but not a game changing character for the game like these 3
Yeah I feel like she doesn't get enough credit purely off the fact that she doesn't need the OP support units to work like other typical damage dealers rn like DHIL or Jingliu.
Kafka is better off using DoT sub-DPS units and maybe a Ruan Mei or Asta but 1 harmony isn't too tall of an order, and the rest of the more genuinely broken ones (Bronya, Tingyun, etc) can go into your second team without Kafka's team being too needy.
Dots are a play style. You can play hsr without dots. So not so broken if you check on pryden there are no dots teams on top team composition.
@@hxnslshhax9011Prydwen isn't a good resource for looking for general play advice. Their entire system for rating teams is MoC and faster clears are generally score higher leaving DoT teams lower because only detonators for DoTs is Kakfa Skill and Ult for all and Guinaifen Ult for burn

I have all three and I absolutely agree that they are indeed, the BIG 3. I don't think I will be able to clear MoC 12 without any one of them.

for me I played star rail since 1.0 and pulled Jing Yuan then quit because the same patch I got e2 Bailu, the xianxhou felt like a slog to play through, and I just hate playing games on my phone so I said was going to give it another change when it come to ps5
And so picked it back up a little before it came to ps5 to see if I can get Fu Xuan because I REALLY needed a sustain but guess what, I lost 50/50 to Himeko🤧I honestly don’t know how I kept playing after that, I was giving it doubt since I really can’t get immersed in games unless I play it through my PlayStation so I still waited for the console release
it came out on ps5, and Jing Liu just so happen to be on banner so I pulled Jing Liu since I had guaranteed from last pulling Himeko . Next patch 1.5 came out, I pulled Huo Huo (she was guaranteed because I pulled another bailu😐) and her light cone in 40 pulls, I truly think that happened because she released on birthday and that was when my account was feeling usable.Later in the same patch I some how won my first 50/50 and got silver wolf which I pulled because she is one of my waifus I didn’t care if people started to say Pela was better because she is aoe.
And now we are in current patch I pulled ruan mei who I won my second 50/50, I all I got say is she made I jing yuan actually viable for my second side which is a god send.
I finally beat that final stage of that xianxhou mic thing with Kafka and the annoying first half mobs and all I got to say is I was not beating that without silver wolf and Ruan Mei
New simulated universe does 70% of my characters' HP WITH Fu Xuan's shield active, i can only imagine how much of a nightmare people without her have to go through to complete the new SU

Unfortunately I'm not pulling ruan mei after losing to her at 79 pity. I'm gonna get kafka next banner as I want a dot team.
you don't need silver wolf to brute force anything, i brute force everythign with imbi and jinglu and i started 2 patches ago, they do enough dmg
plus to have elemental coverage you don't need all the characters, you just need 3-4 elements as all the enemies have 3 weakness
plus with ruan mei and a sub dps/breaker you can break fast enough and probably even in aoe
But SW is good to add since imbibitor Lunae get 40% boost on enemy with imaginary weakness si it's pretty good and with Ruan Mei toi since she revolver around break effect and you don't have Always a good DPS for the 7 élément so it help even if you Can brute force

i can realy on that 40% silver wolf provide or i can get 100% extra dmg and more utility with fro example sparkles, in which chase i don't evne need to break as in the chase of imbibitor he would jsut delate the enemies anyway( as i alredy do)
plus i can use ruan mei with my other team that fits the enemie weakness and problem solved
i didnt even know fu xuan and silver wolf were broken when they lauched, and i still pulled them

SW is overrated never needed her in any situtation, while my 2 teams are literaly fighting for TingYun
I don't think tingyun surpasses fu xuan, but bronya is definitely way more valuable than silverwolf in my opinion
They are op but they serve the same purpose, so its sort of pointless to put them all on the same teir list and call all 3 of them "game changing" when one of them is clearly much more game changing then the rest. Tingyun is op but Bronya is superior, and while it depends on the team, Ruan mei is better than bronya by a lot for most team comps, they are all op but when they intend to do the same thing, buff your team, it makes no sense to put all 3 on a "game changing" tierlist when the most game changing when it comes to buffing the team is Ruan mei alone. The reason Silverwolf, Fu xuan, and Ruan mei are the 3 on this list is because they are all extremely game changing, and each affect a completely separate aspect of combat. SW is the best debuffer in the game, Fu xuan is the best sustain in the game, and Ruan mei is the best buffer in the game. That's why these three are on this list, they're all overpowered, and each serve a unique purpose, so they can technically all be used on one team together with no issues, that's what game changing means

All of the supports in the game have a place for every team, some are just more universal than the other (Example would be Ruan Mei's universal buffs as oppose to Bronya's specific buffs for teams with a hypercarry)
have always taken Silver Wolf to Simulated Universe. She kicks butt in there.
I have these 3 but not because I wanted them. They came early when I was trying to get 4 stars (SW: Dh, Asta; FX: Lynx; RM: TY) while building pity. 😂😂
I's say its gonna be "Bronya, Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei" + (slap some random dps).
I missed Fu Xuan because star rail released after her banner on ps5. At least I was able to get Jingliu
Silverwolf will be relevant until someone is able to get 1 dps of each element fully built and they arent just defaulting to one 1dps for everything. As a F2P thats like something you cant do until at least 1 year into the game. Plus she saves on investment getting to higher content rewards earlier

fuxuan, ruan mei, silver wolf yes the big three. i love them.
The only three characters you honestly need is Bronya,Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei. Or you can replace SilverWolf with Luocha or Dan heng IL.

I think an honorable mention is Luocha, his healing is so braindead that using any other healer feels so underwhelming compared to Luocha. However his only down side is that he only provides insane healing and doesnt give things like Fu Xuan insane sustain and Huohuo's crazy buffing.
I see Luocha as like the Zhongli of this game, once you experience his healing its hard to use other healers. Same goes for Fu Xuan, once you experience Fu Xuan sustain abilities, its hard to use other preservation units.
Agree. But for me, one thing that he lacks is his crowd control prevention like from FX or Huohuo, else he shreds in healing 🎉🎉

And you decide to implant weakness on the deer and guess what you get

But going through that just for you to get The wrong element really sucks
So yh that's my biggest gripe against her she's still good but I feel having 100% quantum implant is less pain inducing during runs

@@honv1990It is more comfortable the more characters there are because you can make more comfortable and better combinations of single elements and thanks to Silver make them work in any MoC, so it is more comfortable and you do not have to build as many characters

If you do not have a strong DPS get Blade or wait for Dan heng Imbibitor Lunae re run. Ruan mei is also extremely good. You can get Kafka but you most likely need her with Black swan and other dot characters.
Luocha is way better then silver wolf auto heals , cleanse , plus he’s not totally inept at offense like most abundance are i don’t have him (yet) but whenever i see someone using him or use him with the support system i just think you can’t lose with this guy
he doesnt do anything offensively, like literally nothing, his damage is beyond negligeable. still the best unit in the game imo, my most used unit by far
I dont think luocha is broken, Huohuo also have autoheal too (as long as you can time your team ultimate i dont think sustain is a problem) while also give attack buff and energy, but huo huo is not sp positive and dont have aoe break on ultimate like luocha while fuxuan do both, she buff the entire team while still being sp positive, and also have resistance to crowd control. The only thing luocha can do that fuxuan can't is removing buff on enemy. Luocha is good, but for a sustain unit to be overpower, they need to offer something more than just sustain (which luocha only offer removing enemy buff and sp positive)
@@juanlukius9115 huohuo up there def top 10 but when using her she kinda demands you pay attention as using your skill and ultimates at the right time is an important part of her playstyle and that's not really a bad thing j mean I have her and I like her alot but luocha is just turn ur brain off and he will still his job and as far as offensive dmg gos I mean obviously he ain't gonna be a dps or even a sup dps but compared to all the other abundance he has the most mainly because his ultimate hits every opponent and top that with the best toughness break debuff jn the game due to imagination and there's probably an argument to be made if just because a unit requires more precise moves and thinking that it does not makes them a worse unit personally I think how beginner friendly and how much know-how it takes to fully utilize a character unit to there max does matter especially in these early days of the game

Jingliu is better with Bronya instead of SW because she goes into spectral mode faster and her buffs affects Jingliu not a single ennemy

I would definitely replace SILVERWOLF with Huo Huo here but I don’t have a big argument for her. Implanting weaknesses is still game breaking that only she can do.
You could, Huo Huo is op, the thing is though, each character on this "Big 3" list had a different purpose, each one is completely game changing in different aspects of combat, Huo Huo and Fu xuan, while technically following different paths, serve a very similar purpose, yet Fu xuan does her job much better, it would be kind of pointless to put two characters that serve the same purpose and label them both as "game changing" when one of them is clearly better

I’m really struggling with fu xuan I have her but I feel like I can’t use her because my jing lui she just siphons the health of my other trail blazers (bro ya and silver wolf) and she has such little healing. Any tips?
Jingliu isn't skill point heavy once she's in her super state so if you have the skill points, you could afford to go sp negative on Fu Xuan and spam her skill so she regains her ultimate pretty quickly. It takes only around 2-3 skill casts to get her ult up (2 if you have ER on her).

While i do think ruan mei is really good.her lc options are way too limited.like i cant afford her sig lc or the memories of past which leaves me with meshing cog,not a very good stat stick

Silver wolf Value besides mono quantum is plummeting - once you get enough dps of different elements she is not needed anymore. She does not belong in top 3.
I don't think that is the case, because not everyone will have a dps for every element of the game, maybe not even properly build (Unless you spend a lot of money and time)
SW lets you implant that weakness and give a ton of different types of debuffs.
Also with Dr. Ratio coming in less than 2 weeks, she will shine along him because of the debuffs that Ratio needs to enhance himself in battle.
Also SW can put 3 debuffs with the basic attack, so that's it's a big win for Ratio, and well, for the whole team.
@@Gusylveon It's a gacha game we all here for a long time. Even F2P players got most elements covered by now and by the anniversary SW will be probably the most obsolete 5 star character for veteran players. Not to mention you haven't seen new Pure Fuction mode yet that benefits aoe characters and long lasting buffs over single target debuff that's also rng.
