The front came up quite well I think. The back would bother me too much as you wouldn’t see it so much. You could ask Gerry at LS what would he do to help it, he may have some other options before having to spray/dye it a colour. I got a beige classic flap bag from a consignment store in Tokyo which was even more grubby than yours, so contacted Gerry at LS & asked him what my options were and he was pretty thorough with different options. I did get mine dyed and cleaned and at first I didn’t like the texture when it came back but over time it has softened up so much that it now feels more buttery. ❤
Oh yeahhh Gerry from LS is greattt!! I did contact them a few times for other vintage bags ( that I no longer have). Im happy it works out for you very well. I’d love to see your bag one day. Vintage Chanels are the best in my opinion!!!!
I didn't know we could clean Chanel bags with an eraser. It definitely made a difference. I am subscribed already. I videos about Chanel too.
Yeah me neither until I was doing research online one day and saw that so I tried it!!! And it worked! Hahaha. It was a miracle. 😂
As someone who bought a dyed bag (seller lied) I definitely agree with you not to send to leather surgeons if you are a tactile bag lover!
Babe yesssss!!!!! I do not like redyed bags… I couldn’t deal with the feel of the altered leather. I have been there where I bought vintages but then they came redyed or painted …. And I had to sell them. I’m sorry that the seller lied to you! That’s not nice :(((

Yeah color transfer is a real pain! But do you notice though, after the first few color transfers, you become more Y.O.L.O. 😝 😅😂🥹🤣
Like I was even more adventurous after hahaha… like life is short let me color-transfer some bags hahah. Jk! 🤭🤓🤭🤓🤭
What about trying to clean it with some white saddle soap (not orange or yellow kind)? Then let it dry for a day
Also could try diluted Dawn dish soap like a few drops in distilled water, using a horsehair brush to apply it sparingly and wipe off quickly.
Hmm..i might try some of these on one of my chanel pieces...
Tryyyy ittt!!! I’m excited. Hope it will do wonder on your bags too! But test it at a small corner first okay and allow 24 hours to dry 😍😍😍
Next step… I think I wanna try the leather conditioner/ leather soap and leather brush, I read it somewhere that people use that to remove old dirt on leather bags hahaha😅😅😅 wish me luck Dani! Hahaha.

Just watched your vlog. My bag is the same way. No engraving on the botton. I did some research n found out that Chanel did that for the bag on series 6-9. So i guess u and i both are ok. Tnx for the info

I’ve also learned that for series 9, some of the classics do not have engraving on the female part of the button. Do you know if there are any other vintage series that have similar feature?? I’m just so curious!
