I live in Temple and went through this tornado.. it's not a "possible"... it WAS a tornado. The damage is heartbreaking.
POSSIBLE tornado?? I saw it form on radar and watched it tear through the city while your "meteorologist" looking at the same radar did not call a tornado and warn the public. Thank God it wasnt worse but the local storm teams should still be ashamed of themselves. Imagine if someone died.
I live in Temple, saw the tornado with my own eyes before I took cover in the center room of my house. My heart goes out to those who lost their homes and businesses.
Max Velocity on You Tube warned 30 minutes before it happened!. NWS refused to call at that moment.
I was watching Max when he called the warning, I'm so thankful for that, it gave me time to get out and to safety before it hit. As you stated, I was already in a safe place by the time the NWS called it. If I had waited for the NWS, it would've been too late for me to get out.

It was a tornado. Family in the area watched it. I just left temple from helping clean some and I’ve never seen damage so bad.

It shouldn't be weeks, I live in Temple, Tx and we were told by our electric company that it should be by next Wednesday the latest. *fingers crossed*

I don't think she's allowed to say it was a tornado until it's confirmed by NOAA, or whatever is equivalent here in Texas. You have to be careful with that because you don't want to freak people out, cause legal issues, etc. It seems silly to me too, but I remember that being a thing some years back.
The winds were up to 100 mph in that area along with large and heavy hail. The funnel hasn't yet been confirmed.

Two words folks: Frequency. Intensity. This is what we are in for with these storms. Have fun repairing for the next one. I live in South Temple and we were hit bad with the EF1 tornado. Everyone I've talked to keeps saying weather modification. Im glad folks are waking up. You should see all the creek systems in West/South Temple, the trees are all rooted up and split either leaning on streets other trees or the water way.
