But yeah black sesame dessert is very popular, me and my family have it sometimes here in Sydney Australia.
Just wanted to let you know if you had this "glutinous rice balls" in a thick soup (it's tong yoon" in Cantonese, not sure about Mandarin, they have black sesame for that as well. So like the black sesame dessert you had there, added with those glutinous rice balls.
    OR
You can get black sesame glutinous rice balls that you have in a bowl of shallow hot water 😊

@chokladpudding96 I don't know if it has a specific one? Probably Double Skin Milk Custard. It is pronounced shuang pi nai in Mandarin or shuang pei nai in Cantonese. It's a custard/pudding like dessert. Essentially, there is a layer on top that is created from heating milk and then a layer on the bottom which is a custard layer of milk and egg. An extremely popular version is made with ginger.

Also the crunchy black sesame candy bar, like those using peasnuts are my favorite as well!
Welcome to HK, you will discover a lot of great delicacies in this food haven!
I notice that the shop that sells glutinous sesame ball at Tai Po is not wrapped by the lady owner, she insisted of preparing at the spot for ultimate freshness but that took a toll on his hand and wrist and she is suffering from inflammation and other wrist and forearm injury. God bless her to revcover soon~

High in iron too, but iron and calcium are not items one needs too much of. Luckily, however, also high in magnesium - which one does want to ensure getting. Unlikely anyone would eat enough all that often to be a worry though ; ) Most likely reason for graying hair is stress - it causes the release of H2O2 (peroxide) in the hair follicles which bleaches the hair from the inside (!)

I never eat black sesame dessert (黑芝麻糊) since elementary school, even though it helps our hair to maintain its darkness/color, it also makes us to rush to the restroom uncontrollable.

Now they only keep a few by the vash register and I still buy them all, but when I ask if they have more, I'm always told that I bought the last of them. Ha, one day I went back a few hours later to buy some red dates and there were more at the cash register 😂. I love the taste so much. I've had black sesame milk tea too and liked it.
