22:44 this is one of the most badass moment i have seen the dark peasant do, he gets hit point black by 3 tank shells, and fires at them through the smoke cloud while it is clearing, revealing him being literally untouched

It still brings tears to my eyes when I see what this community has made, I still remember playing the Neon update and calling the faction the star wars faction because of the light sabers, now there are secret units, a literal time god and a place to not only create but use custom units. We have seen a beautiful game evolve over the course of years, from super peasants to halflings and pirates everyone has laughed before from seeing this wacky game, I will forever love and respect this game and their makers.
And now we even have a map making tool!
I’m still amazed by how far this game has come. Sad the chicken man and chicken man man who never made it back though. F for the broken, lag causing dudes.
the game will still get updated idk for how long but i know that there are still chances for more units or items at the unit creator that will help create chicken man or chicken man man after all there is a mod that has some unfinished abilities like self copy blink ability the chickens and a neon wall ability which may come out in the future

A chicken man chicken spawning ability was leaked recently on some RUclips channel using a game file exploit mod called ucm. Glad to know they’re working on it!

I like how Landfall shows the bugs and glitches in the trailer on purpose, and It gives me a good feeling that developers being honest are still a thing.

As a tabs vet it's so nice watching some of the most iconic game play of tabs all the battles and all the wacky stuff and side games the weapons the units slowly growing with new abilities and strengths and weaknesses and looking back on all the concepts of the king wheel barrow and da Vinci all the old maps the neon faction and more the first every wobbling fight and so many tottaly accurate yrs....
The effort, the history, the work, the experience, the power, the courage and the love of all fans of this game called totally accurate battle simulator TABS made by landfall is a miracle it started in 2016 and now it's 2021 great job landfall for making this amazing game we all love you and also I'm 1st peece ✌️

An observation I made is that a majority of modern TABS units were shown/implemented before the Early Access. Really goes to show how Landfall can sit on an idea for years and follow through on it (Biggest case of this: Blink Dagger/Shadow Walker)
I find it very interesting that landfall managed to save some units from far early access from being scrapped behind closed doors, and for the better. Even some of the more absurd idea like trump and the chicken man man get retained by the necromancer and present elfs
It’s amazing how something so simple and silly can become what many would call a legacy game now.

Man I still remember in the open alpha I put a lot of chicken men behind a specific rock in the desert map and they would get stuck there and just poop out a huge army which then rolled over my super boxers. Great memories

Why is this video way better than every single cinematic National Geographic documentary
Something I noticed, in older versions the ragdoll and the characters' movements were much more fluid
And they were able to create a form of screen-shaking that makes battles more emotional.
I miss that in the current versions, but they're good too
No word can describe how incredible and cinematic this was.. Oh wait the 2 words just now :D

I've seen this game from its humble beginnings to it's April fools jokes which were games, that are a lot of fun btw :)

Man it shocks me how I have seen this community grow. I was barley in 5th grade when I started following the game. Now I am in high school.
I have to admit that that some effects were looked better before like fire and bone mage ability. And judging by the hidden Unit creator clothes, weapons, abilities and some units from the video, i think they are still working on these things and im sure they gonna release more Legacy and secret units :)

Some of these units could have been really cool to be remade in the full release. Like the neon units, and that Egypt map.

Abs has came a long way and I joined at the very start I’m so proud on how landfall made this game to be amazing good job landfall
Tabs probably has the weirdest development timeline, they did everything then redid everything while replacing the cool shit with different cool shit

The neon faction in full release sounds like a good alternative to a modern faction

I cant BELIEVE that it's been 5 YEARS... of TABS..... So many units... Old characters did not make it (chickenman, neon faction, ect+wierd chances of more/less eyes or being bigger/smaller then normal) congratulations to the best 2016 game....Totally accurate battle simulator..... Still want it one mobile tho.... Peece❤️✌️

Man, TABS has changed so much since its development. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has definitely evolved into such an amazing, wacky game that LandFall Games never stopped working on, even with the delays in several updates. I'm proud that they released the full game. Strangely enough, it was released on April Fool's Day (April 1st). Apparently it was no joke. LandFall will still continue updating TABS, though. Just because Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is out, doesn't mean LandFall can continue adding new content to it.

I wish landfall would make an update where they brought back the neon faction but make them much more futuristic and also add a new neon map
Yeah would have been really cool but I also like the new tabs and them upgrading the samurai and the the new units like the mammoth also known as snuffy and other cool units like the different archers
They said they have an update in 2022 on their website, they said it's something we will definitely like but I don't think that's the neon faction since the roadmap also said between the end of 2021 and 2022 they will add the neon weapons at some point

It's a pity I didn't see the light of a more or less modern era: a flamethrower, gas-fired grnata, you placed these fighters at different times in this place: a dragon, etc.
I guess thats why they are releasing clothes and weapons for them in TABG and import it to TABS. Also modern faction was scrapped b quite a while ago

This is such an underrated video love the editing
You could see how hard the landfall team made the full release, adding some of the up comming units that were teased back in the day (like the chu ko nu and the bomb thrower.) And making outfits for all of the units that probably take a month, making the new maps for the full release, etc.
Ah I remember the good days of tabs in 2018 when I was a pioneer who shaped most modern tabs battles and scenarios. Then my computer broke and I was long forgotten into the past.

The chicken man man model was never really abandoned, its actually used for the giants in what is the current tabs.
