It's not right that children are left with parents like this. Farrah is a Narcissist, among other things and will hurt her child deeply. The same problems that caused Farrah to be the way she is are being cycled into the next generation. I'm sorry Farrah had a rough childhood but it's her job to pull it together for her daughter. As a society we care too much about parents having what they want. The damage a personality disordered parent, especially with Narcissism, inflicts on children is as bad or worse than physical abuse.

I think what turned Farrah so bitter and mean is she holds on to the truth that if Derek was alive her and him would be happy and married. I respect Farrah in this one interview because it is true. In psychology, you learn that children 2-3 years old like having some sort of control. For example, allowing them to put their own shoes on when they insist on doing it alone, or when they request a specific food, in particular, feeding themselves, and learning to pee/poop on their own (of course with assistance). she is correct, it teaches these children to be independent. I am not a fan of Farrah but the way this Bethany lady or whatever her name is. Bethany is so rude and insensitive to Farrah "u think yall would've been together if he hadn't passed?" regardless of Farrah's parenting who the hell does this lady think she is? that was so rude and cruel. "What toddler needs "me" time?" Everyone needs "me" time, including toddlers! They need some time to themselves and peace and quiet and relaxation just like everyone else....Parents who never give their kids a moment's time to them self and are always breathing down their kids throat, and has a schedule for every little thing always seem the most stressed out. They need to take a step back and a deep breath because your kids see that and it rubs off.

i actually kinda side with Farrah on this one. i'm a full time mom and my kids also have their own lives. if my daughter wants to go with Grandma out of state for a week while I stay back and work etc I'd let her. if I'm on my way to do adult stuff, my kids are set up with something equally fun to do at the time. i wouldn't say every famous person out there cares more about money than their kids, but everyone jumps Farrah for it because she's so bad with words. she doesn't confine her daughter to her lifestyle, but rather let's her daughter choose her hobbies etc. though her and her daughter could use better social skills, I think they're a small happy family in general with a strong bond. it's nice to see Farrah have at least one consistent relationship in her life that is truly unconditional. bitch or not, everyone needs such

The whole "issue" people have of Sophia going to daycare amazes me, and I really don't understand what the issue is simply because children in the UK start government funded nursery (Pre K) for 15-20hrs a week in the UK the term after their 3rd Birthday, then they start full time education 8.35am-3pm called reception (Kindergarten) which can be either at school or if you feel they aren't ready for the structured classroom setting you can choose to defer them from anywhere to a term to a year and they can do their hours at a nursery or preschool and that happens the September after their 4th birthday but they must be in full time education, and then it's full time school year 1 (1st grade) the September after their 5th Birthday, I don't see the big issue it doesn't make the parents of the UK part time parents not bad parents, its good for them, they socialise, they learn, it gives them a head start and regardless of how amazing of a parent you think you are, you cannot give them that independence nor socialisation with many different people from different walks of life, that nursery and sch gives them, even if you see 10 different friends and their children each day, you still can not provide what a school or nursery can, they need time away from their parents as hard as it is to let them go your giving them something that you couldn't possibly provide at home, xx
