I have a battery inflator like that except by Ryobi and I added a quick disconnect type deal at the end of the screw-on so I didn't have screw the inflator on each wheel, just a quick little spring lever. The battery inflators are pretty legit. I'll upgrade to Milwaukee one of these days.
Driving around and stopping at 3 different locations to fill up my tires tonight really irritated me tonight, because they were either broken or didn’t have a hose. Even at a tire shop. Wtf. I will get this and be done spending $1.50 to inflate tires.
Just got mine today. It's absolutely sick and worth every penny. I stuck one of my 9.0 batteries I had laying around at work on it and did 5 trucks and the battery still reads full
I ordered this as soon as it popped up online and it’s fantastic. I’ll be using it to top off my camper tires before road-trips. Thanks for the quick abs great service and superior products.
Nice video. Thanks for using the 5.0 battery. It is a more common battery and it's what I have. I was wondering if I needed a HO to use with the compressor but you answered my question. I'm definitely going to purchase me one now. Just found out about them.
If you have a few M18 tools (which I assume you do) then grabbing a few bigger batteries is very very handy. I use 5Ah on my impact driver, hackzall and circ saw, but my high impact wrench and angle grinder eat batteries for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between snacks, so a 12Ah and an 8Ah are nice to have. It still annoys me that they don't sell the 9Ah anymore (at least where I live) because it had a decent runtime and still fit in many of my HD boxes.
5:03 know some don’t like Milwaukee battery “style” and location of fuel gauge. But gotta say, when us8mg products like this inflator; very handy to have gauge on front of battery where can check easily, whereas if gauge was on back (like some wish was for say impacts & drills, etc….) would need to remove battery to check juice level 😉 Cheers✌🏻
The m12 inflator has kept my truck tire topped off for the last 4 months lol. Construction sites are the worst, 3 nails same tire and I literally just another two days ago in a different tire. The m12 works fine on my 2500hd, but its awesome to see an M18 version since Ive got about 10 batteries
This is exactly why I’m here at 11:30pm looking at tire inflators. Tired of constant nails and screws from job sites, tired of having to stop at gas stations to add psi to tires
@@twentyonehertz yes👍🏼 I was able to get new tires so it’s not constantly being used but I’d say a couple times a month I pull it out for bikes, cars, dolly’s or whatever else needs it:)
I'm curious if the duty cycle could handle airing up 4, 37" MT's from 7 psi? Maybe used alongside an 12.0 battery? It would be nice to not need to connect something like a ARB or Viair to the vehicle battery.
yeah this is sorta what I was hoping to see, 4 big tires from 10ish to 25-30 psi is what I gotta do on my vehicles. been trying to figure out a decent compressor setup
I just got mines today; home depot had an online deal. Buy a battery charger with two 5.0 amp batteries and get a free tool and i chose this with $211 after tax
This is such a nice little package. I live in an apartment building and my car tires seem to always be leaking no matter what, we have very bump roads in Winnipeg, this would be perfect!
Lol, think looking for 21700 cells which I think easy to remember than the 18650’s that you got out quickly 😂 Also as an fyi (as I’m sure ya know, but for ppl who don’t wanna look up here ya go) Milwaukee batteries are: CP 1.5, CP 2.0, HO CP 3.0, XC 5.0, HO XC 6.0, HO XC 8.0, HO HD 12.0 for the “starting lineup” for M18 battery line. The HD 9.0 was replaced by HO XC 8.0 ( & haven’t seen for sale in while) and the XC 3.0, XC 4.0, & XC 6.0 just are financially practical to buy when the other options are “better” and battery deals are always out there (like I’d buy a HO CP 3.0 battery before I’d buy a XC 3.0 battery b/c the 2-pk XC 3.0 are $169 when the 2-pk HO CP 3.0 batteries are at $129 and can find deals for $99; as an FYI for the OG Fam out there👍🏻 Definitely an upgrade from the m12, which…to be fair to little bro; still has its place, but the m18 big bro imo is what Milwaukee was hoping the m12 would be and that wasn’t ever gonna happen. This m18 inflator w/ it’s 20 min duty cycle is pretty great along w/ a 150 psi max. The 3 onboard memory “programs” is nice and allows to get to higher/lower psi quickly if set them apart (example: mine at 36, 44, 78 psi for what need and if wanna get to 110 quickly I press M3 for 78 and go from there instead of waiting for it to get to desired psi, albeit it’s pretty quick to set a desired psi). The auto “smart” feature of testing to make sure at set psi is nice, thru me off 1st use as thought done and started up as taking off, but get it now, and is pretty cool. A dislike I have, no quick connect and have to screw on like baby bro and wish was an option for a quick connect to quickly secure and remove from a tire, otherwise, very nice inflator imo. Cheers✌🏻
Too many standards and no one manufacturer makes the best of every common tool a consumer could want. I-R makes the best 3/8” and 1/2” drive impact guns but run on 19.2V, Ryobi has the best tyre inflator, Milwaukee has really nice M14 1/4” drive tools. Then there are the portable DA polishers by another mfr. That’s four chargers and multiple battery packs plus spares.
i was waiting for Milwaukee to come out with an m18 tire inflator like this for so long, i gave up hope and just got the DEWALT 20-volt inflator, it was on sale at fleet farm for like 90$ (without battery, tool only). i have many m18 batteries and various power tools, and OPE from Milwaukee. if i knew they were coming out with this, i probably would have waited... but the dewalt has worked out great these past few months.
Because it has trufill technology which means it will monitor the air in the tire and if it needs more air it will turn on until the tire is at target psi..... Another words its normal for it to do that !
The little bit of air leakage when unscrewing it, is not a big deal on a car/truck tire but with bike tires, its rather significant. Maybe that use case isn't considered much but wondering if there any solutions to this? One thing I thought about is the end piece could simply be changed to something that doesn't screw on.
You can buy a lever chuck from Amazon that attaches to the screw on end of the hose, and presto you have a quick connect on -off that won't lose any air when you disconnect it from your valve. Simple fix and you get 2 of them for about 8 bucks at Amazon.
When is going to be another car giveaway. I'm ready starting a detailing business so I can win it and displayed in the shop .so I'm looking into everything to purchase and your store so far list is 10k looking forward to it

Thanks for the heads up on the Jaco…gonna pick one up too
The 6.0 actually puts out more instant power than the 8.0 or bigger. 6.0 is definitely the sweet spot. Especially on high-demand tools like impacts.

Actually, he was going to 80psi since it’s HD truck. For a normal 37”, I suspect a 6.0 would be close to doing all 4.
