i listen to this evry day. it is so amazing how you are able to play t hat on a stratocaster and not a les paul. im really impressed. i need to say thanks for this beuse this is just so amazing
Whoa, this is so awesome and fantastic at the same time. This simply goes to show that you don’t need to have the same guitar gear as the artist to capture the sound and tone. You can play Sweet Child O' Mine on any electric guitar including that Fender Stratocaster. Otherwise, this is a great video that can never be replicated.
Thanks! On this cover, I used Pro Tools with a Marshall type amp sim plug in. To get this sound, basically just use alot of gain or distortion on your amp or pedal, a fair amount of reverb, and the neck pickup.
@@HayesGuitar You're welcome! You deserve it! Congratulation from an italian guitarrist(if you want to see my channel it means a lot for me :) have you a great day and keep it up!
Thanks! This particular vid I plugged into a focusrite audio interface and used Pro Tools with different amp sim plugins. Basically alot of gain and neck pickup
I highly recommend a marshall. I bought a mim strat and a dsc40 marshall amp now that i got a job and make decent money. Has plenty of settings and plays this song great
The original played on a gibson les paul with humbuckers and it could be our ears so used to it.. But nonetheless, it doesn't sound that bad being played on a Fender with single coils at least to me... Well, maybe just a little bit too trebly for some people but it's all a matter of taste
playing guns n roses on a strat while wearing a zeppelin shirt. you love to see it
Strato , it's the Best guitar
pov u asked for a les Paul and they gave you a Strat

Just goes to show you don’t need the same gear as the artist to capture the sound! Kick-ass man!

Yeah, because in reality what differentiates the sound is basically the pedals and the amp settings.
