I wish they actually released this song in a slow tempo like this one. Axl's voice shines the most in this tempo. But must admit that the polished voice in the album version is the reason why it got so popular.
I used to have an old cassette of Guns And Roses which was called Demos And Out Takes. It must have been a bootlegged album or something cause I’ve never seen or heard of it again. It was black and had a paper label with a black and white pic of Slash on it. It was rough sounding and Axl Roses voice was still developing, it had a version of November Rain which had a great piano solo at the end which I’d listen to over and over. I wish I still had it but that was years ago.
@@MrBenderrrr unfortunately this is not the same demo. Quite similar though. The one I heard was a lot dirtier and had the same ending as this one but no intro of Axel talking or saying anything. The piano at the end was the same but the demo I am thinking of was really rough and you could tell Axels voice was just being trained. This version was short but still had the “again, and again, and again)etc in it different then the album version. If I ever find it I will try to upload it to RUclips but that was when I was young and I am 36 now so it may be hard to find. Like the other person said in these comments there where thousands of such demos made.
@@_igorgodoi man that’s so freaking awesome!!!! Glad someone else has enjoyed that demo and that I remember it correctly. Thanks for sharing that with me brings back old memories of my Dad listening to it as we drove out to the country on the weekends in his black Monti Carlo, I still remember my Dads cut off leather gloves and his fingers tapping to the music as we drove usually at night back from the city to the country Home on weekends!!!! Mom was still with us then and she was so beautiful and happy back then. My half brother beside me in the back seat and us singing while muting out the profanity in the songs, we would let it slip every once in a while and Mom would tell us if we kept swearing she would tell our Grandpa which calmed us down!! Lol

I like that better than the Lp Version! I like what they tried to do here....with the Echoing etc. It is a Little Bit more Cheesy, a Little Bit more something that would Fit into a 80s Movie Soundtrack! I try to Imagine what it is like when you have a Song like that.....i guess you just Know what you have on your Hands! You just have to! This must give you huge Confidence! It is more Hypnotic than the LP Version!
Esse demo é muito exclusivo, é mais lenta que a original. Parece que RUclips sempre que vê derruba ela, sumiu a que outro canal postou em 2015 com outra tumbnail (capa).
I wonder why this recording demo was so trash like what did they record it on? Axl vocals are arguable to be the best performance he did. More sing less scream. Tempo is def slower. But idea was there. But recording sounds like a tape recorder recording a pa in a room. No way this was done by a proper studio. Slash made many mistakes. But axl was on point.
Sure Slash may have made mistakes, but did you SERIOUSLY not hear those fast improvised runs in this version of the solo? I'm not a speed/shred enthusiast, but even I was impressed by his fast cavalier playing in certain parts of the solo. Almost seems weird that you would not notice that, but notice some small mistakes?
Geffen records called manny charlton, during the Nazareth cinema album to listen to the songs they played, recording this Legendary demo tape, he liked them very much, cause they blow him away, Nazareth were a great influence if you listen to their Go down fighting, the voice of mccaffey is the late axl rose...so great they build their Reputation around Nazareths music

@@gunsnrosesdefinition7672 wow cool...
Some of these demos from the classic rock/metal era make me nostalgic for a time when a man and his guitar could make musical history.
My mom used to call me her sweet child of mine. I miss her
A slower tempo and another mix gives it another vibe, definitely less sugary than the relased one, seems more powerful and rock to me.
I love the way the drums and the tempo of this demo flows. Something about it. It’s just amazing.

I can’t believe Axl is actually singing in his normal voice here and not the familiar mixed voice like in the released version.
If only could this be on a higher quality
nostalgia for a place and time you've never been

They shoulda stuck with this tempo and drop tuning but I’m sure they didn’t have a say in it

I feel like Nazareth never got their dues. Lots of rockers need to listen to them, deep cuts and all, not just the hits.
