I can't really donate nothing but I was stuck on the other side of the river I know where a spring is that I can go get drinking water up in the mountain so I won't be taking anything others need it more than me

Water dorsnt flow north, it flows south. The dams were jot properly relieved and lowered the week prior to Helene hitting, which between tbe 3 day rains and some flood waters caused the damage but mostly they failed to keep the dams lowered and relieved lime they should have donewhich caused the dams to breach and break, tjen over flow, which also ran into the two rivers massive waters which between these is what caused tbe flooding in Tennessee. Its very simple. Water doesnt run North. It runs South. Helene occured way, way South clear to tbe Atlantic Ocean, many hours some 11 hours away, of driving 700 miles- away from Newport/Coche County Tennessee.. No, this flooding was caused by tve river dams and other dams NOT being consistently lowered and the extreme pressure on those dams not relieved which should have been do e the week prior to Helene, during those 3 days of rain a d during Helene hitting the coast abs causing those rivers to back up, and flood,. Yeah in Tennessee TEMA and tbe Army Corp of Engineers are to blame. Same with Virginia, same agencies are to blame. You must keep things monitored, and 15 feet over and 9 feet over on tbe two main rivers does not cause this much flooding and damage. Someone needs to answer up, because this was preventable. Aint nobody gonna admit nor raje any accountability. Arny corp should be building flow and directionsl dykes and build flood levees along these rivers, to prevent spillage and flooding. Dam locks should be relieving oressure and lowering water levels to prevent massive over flows and dam breaches. You dont hear a word from tbese emergency preparedness agencies until a catastrophic flood occurs, yet they receive plenty of funding state and fexeral both, and rest assured their employees make very good money, and sit like fat cats enjoying the good life, until a major flood hits, and wipes out entire towns, cities, counties. And do they ever admit or take any responsibility? NO. Not until they get sued, so you home owners and folks need to get good lawyer's now, test assured farmers are qlreading doung that because their farms flooded are history for years to come, but theyre already lining up lawyers and lawsuits, you can bet in that because the farmers know who is responsible for ensuring these catastrophic eventa do not occur, and they know it was preventable. So dont just wait on your private insurance claims, get lawyers and go after them, because until you make them take responsibility they wont, and theyll continue to slack on their jobs. Its their jobs to ensure this doesnt happen. And in those events, they control the risks and threats of uncontrolled flooding and loss of homes and worse loss of lives. Theyve become plum lazy. Take it from.a state and person who lives next to the Mississippi River, you must make them do their jobs or this will happen again and again. Its their responsibility. And it wasnt just 3 days rain, nor Helene that caused this massive flooding. Its their failure to prepare, direct water flow, spilage and over flow, and prevent the LOSSES of land, roads, streets, homes and especially LOSS OF HUMANE LIVES - and do their friggen jobs. Every River that goes tbrough a town requires flood walls, dykes for directional control, levees to prevent flooding and even river locks which you rately ever see these days and even dams in certain circumstances to control both water levels and mounting pressure.
