3:08 this was impressive when I was watching in the stadium. Reads multiple receivers, even pump fakes, and still delivers the comeback route perfectly
@@StayFlyJW Agree, this was something we weren’t seeing from Peyton. A few slants that were off, but I think that’s probably timing from not having as many reps with the 1s in practice.
@@river-tvlifelibertyandthep3570yes but we aren’t talking about competition it’s more about the reads and ball placement on a consistent bases. With this being his first full game he can only get better from his mistakes.
@@AUWDE I thought the same but Hank is throwing into coverage too much. It's ok on short throws but he'll eventually get some interceptions. As he gains experience he'll get better at finding open secondary receivers downfield.
@MarkMcCullough-y5s only like 4 of his throws were in coverage which we the bad throws.. the others are 1 vs 1... wr gotta make the play and the catch.. he's putting it in their chest or catch radius.. not gonna be wide open in the SEC every week.. these are the types of throws and catches that needs to be made if we're gonna win some games... everything ain't gone be perfect.. gotta be an athlete at the skills positions...
@@FundzFargo15 hopefully Cam Coleman will play Saturday and give Hank another good target. A dry afternoon is on tap so maybe some more downfield throws.
This is suitable for a guy with limited game reps. He can build upon this. I like that he makes the reads and trusts his guys to be open and catch the ball. He threw into coverage but was decisive and threw a nice deep ball. Arkansas doesn't have the strongest defense, so he could settle in well if the game plan is good.
@@Los334_ Thorne is only any good when there's no pressure on him. Then he's mediocre at best. Hank reminds me of Mac Jones. He'll get better every week.
Kid has potential.. he's just locking his eyes and head on his first read too much, he maybe looked off coverage twice in all these throws.. Gonna have to learn to do that in SEC play
Our passing game still sucks. Just very sloppy. A few good plays sprinkled in there, but waaaaay too many mistakes that will kill us against decent teams. Lots of throws off the mark, QB and WR not on the same page, throwing into triple coverage..... Players are paid now. They need to learn to do their jobs.
4th best QBR in the country week 3 sucks? Am I missing something? 4 TDs to 4 different receivers? Didn’t have his best receiver in and Perry Thompson barely played. Also, a couple of the passes were straight up drops. Is this your first time watching football?
A few of those throws that were off the mark at the end of the first half was due to not being able to get a dry ball in after that downpour hit. I do think he will get more accurate and comfortable with time tho.

I only counted 3 dangerous throws and 1 bad throw. All the others were on the target. Very good 1st performance 👏

My favorite play was the check down to Hunter for a td
I think Thorne could make all these throws. But Browns awareness and decision making is way better
Thinking is what got him on the bench .
@@slimpickens8343 I think this team still looked mediocre as shit Saturday and is going to get blown out by Arkansas

Exciting time to be an Auburn fan. I'm more concerned with our secondary than I am with QB1 now.

The almost INT was bad throw to right person.
4 drops unless I missed any.
4?
I only have 1 for Perry Thompson.
