    Guys I know the one parent one language thing as myself growing up my dad spoke Arabic to me my mam English and I learned German from kindergarten Alhamdulilah I was trilingual at the age of 3 🤍 the thing is we live in turkey and the only people around Amannah are me and Ahmed usually me and Ahmed speak English to eachother even though we shouldn’t so that’s why we both speak to her in Arabic 🥰

  • @MiraMiraa
    @MiraMiraa 6 месяцев назад +21

    Coming from a person who spoke multiple languages since childhood plus my mom is a kindergarten teacher.
    I recommend you let Amanah be exposed to as many languages as possible. Please don’t underestimate children. They’re smarter than you think. Any language that’s used and spoken before the age of 10 is like a native language. She’ll be able to understand and speak all languages.
    I know many tend to think better to focus on one language but that shouldn’t be it. Do speak Arabic a lot but also say the corresponding words in English, Turkish & any languages you want your children to speak.
    My mom made us listen, speak, read 3 languages. Cuz we are Turks, living in Sweden she made us use all languages we use.
    And she recommends every parent speaking multiple languages.
    So please please, expose her to all the languages. She will figure it out, just each time make sure you’re giving the same words in all the languages speaking to her.
    May Allah make it easier for you guys and put Barakah in everything you do. Salamu Alaikum ♥️

    MashaAllah! Guys, I’m french Algerian and my husband is Algerian. We live in London. My children are trilingual. My husband always spoke Arabic with them at home, I always spoke French and then when they started school they picked up English very quickly.
    I would say one parent-one language and then she will pick up English outside when she socialises and even faster if she goes to school

  • @nooribrahim7868
    @nooribrahim7868 3 месяца назад

    I came to the UK when I was four and picked up English quickly in school. She will be fine once she starts school inshallah. Or even if she does playdates with kids if you want her to learn turkish earlier. I understand your logic because my arabic became weaker even though it is my first language. Whatever she ends up using most will be her strongest language, so I totally agree with the priority being arabic first, especially if you aren't surrounded by arabs. Get it in while you can.

      Ik what ahmed was talking about. And is honestly just a cultural thing and people are fanatic about it . But honestly referring back to sunnah directly which Ahmed did is the correct thing because they would still get mad at you but at least they'll not fully go on shout mode

  • @Unknownperson-ob7fu

    0:46 brother the problem in turkey Sufism is followed in large numbers its coming from ottoman empires they do not directly implement Quran and sunnah but implement through their scholars and wali its not a pure version of Islam and also not authentic
