Wow, Wow, Wow!! You are brilliant! Seriously, never thought to source the swatch sheets from the companies and actually adjust the size to fit the boxes they are in!! I see the benefit of numbering and have added this project to my to-do list! I have my DO’s in the tower style holders that rotate, and all others in wall units from Amazon, it will be easy to number them all! Great idea. Unfortunatly the tins are quite expensive over here.
Thank you! I’m so sorry the tins are expensive where you live. I try to wait until a sale before I buy them myself, but I really do like them.
I downloaded the free labels that are already colored and labeled with the color name for the Distress Inks & Distress Oxides, trimmed them down, placed double sided tape on one side of the 3x3 ink pad lid that is showing in the tin and affixed it to the outside. This way I don’t have to refer to another reference sheet. As for the reinkers, I also have the tin but cut the free colored label and punched a hole and glued it to the top of each reinker lid so I can see the colors through the lid. Hope this helps others.
