Trick Parts: how to play DREAM THEATER'S Pull Me Under Gtr Unison on BASS

This is the second video from our new series - TRICK PARTS: How to play!
Pull me Under has a very trick part to play on the bass - that Gtr unison . So today I'm showing how I play that part and how I'm studying the best way to practice this riff.
PULL ME UNDER - between 3mins16secs and 3mins25secs.
TUNING: Standard ( E A D G)
BPM: 102bpm
TIME STAMPS
0:52 - Each bar 2x 70bpm
3:18 - Full Riff 70bpm
3:58 - Full Riff 102bpm (original bpm)

The Crazy thing is This isn’t just an attempt line in that worked very well in the studio because John Still manages to nail the part when Pull Me Under is played live. John is insanely good.

First decided to learn it 2 days ago. I spent like an hour on the first 5 measures of the part and didn't practice the other ones because they were pretty much the same. Didn't practice it yesterday and now I can do it at 70 bpm in this video
Moral of the story: Sometimes not practicing is practice

@@tahasimsek im able to do the whole thing at full bpm except for the end part. I have trouble connecting the end because my pinky doesnt want to cooperate at those higher frets lol. good luck to you!

@@TexturaI it's interesting that I have same problem with my yamaha bb425 which has really comfortable neck and 21 frets. but it's easy to land that last part at my rbx375 which has way much thicker neck and 24 frets.
