I'd wear Sedley in the dead of summer. I'd wear Percival on warm fall and winter days (California).
Sedley! Without any doubts! Reason? That lavender and mint! Smething special! Percival smells like familiar fragrance to me!

Percival is my all time favorite scent, when my girl first smelled it she said it was the sexiest fragrance she had smelled. Will always have a bottle in the collection.

Spring and summer is just around the corner, and I need to get a good summer scent. Went out and tested these two.
I loved both of them, but Percival is just devine, and it projected the best of the two on my skin.
I will get Sedley too eventually.

I loved both but went with Percival because while the opening of Sedley was really amazing for me, the drydown was not so good 😅 at least on my skin.

It's clearly Sedley for me. Love that minty freshness and the woody deepness. Excellent stuff. Percival is quite nice but just a bit too ordinary imho.

Percival is awesome, it is a very safe bet. Greenley and Sedley didn't catch me right away, I think I will need to smell them side by side with Percival. And I know I will end up buying Percival and one of the others 🤣

Sedley smells amazing, on a strip i smell it but on my skin it disapears.

great video! Totally torn between the 2. Hav Layton and love it but it is my going out/date scent. Choosing between Percival vs sedley for my everyday/signature scent. Any opinion?
Percival is better for everyday because it is more versatile and can be used all year round whereas sedley is more of a summer scent

Thank you Sheldon! I don't have Darley and it's been years since I put my nose to it.. So I can unfortunately not give you a good answer on that 🤷♂️😊
@@rottenrebels I have Darley but not Sedley or Percival (although Percival is on order). Darley is a four season fragrance that is easy to wear for any occasion. Lemon and mint in the opening and tonka bean and sandalwood in the dry down. PdM fragrances last forever on my skin (14+ hours) and even longer on fabric. To me, Darley is light and fun, perfect for work, working out, or something more intimate. I recently received Herod, and all I can say is WOW! You simply can’t go wrong with PdM.

I got a collection sample from Perfum de marley. I tried both in my skin and both love them. But I'm very disappointed that percival didn't last long in my skin. I would say it stayed in my skin for 3 hours and then disappeared. On the other hand, sedly stayed over 5 hours in my skin with a huge projection. In summary both are good but sedly last longer than percival
Hi Mario! Thanks for sharing. I think for being freshies both have quite good performance. Galloway is also one with quite good performance.. Greenley is the one that performs the least out of the PDM freshies.
With that said, I think the scents are the primary thing and when it comes to the scents they are stellar freshies that I love. Unique, well-made and just quite intoxicating 😊👌
@@rottenrebels wow Greenley lasted on my skin like 20 hours and projected for about 3 hours. Its crazy how it differs between people
@@janneshildebrandt1 greenley also lasts on my skin for many hours. I get strong projection for 3-4 hours. I go to bed, wake up and still get whiffs of it in the morning

For a signature sent…..Percival or Y Eau de Parfum? Are they similar?
This one's a tough one.. Percival is an epic light scent that just works.. Y EdP is a bit heavier but not a heavy scent and it's also a scent that just works.. And both are perfect as a signature scent. To my nose they are not that similar.
Percival will definitely give you a more unique scent simply because less people use it. Y EdP is a way more common scent.
Both are not strong scents, so will require topping up or just more sprays.
Both are mass appealing scent that pretty much most people will enjoy.
One is about double the price of the other, so that's of course something to think about.
Hope that helps a little bit.. Go with the one you enjoy the most, it ultimately comes down to that 👍😁

I love the way a quality cologne makes me feel in the morning and all throughout the day. I love your videos….keep up the great work!

Hi! I do feel they are sort of on the same level but Percival might just edge out Sedley when it comes to performance.

An advice Percival do not worth even 50$ believe me i just bought the both of them, Sedly is really good smelling.
I for sure agree, but not that much. Percival is still a great fragrance but is not worth its price tag. I only have percival, greenly, Galloway, and Haltane from pdm. Percival is honestly mid
