Havent seen a better conditioned team since Meyer got there. Strong finishers. Not unbeatable but you wont wear them out.

Lam Jon, I’m a Buckeye, and I have to agree. It’s complete insanity, and it truly did the job. From the start, our receivers couldn’t catch perfect passes and our O-line couldn’t block, and that ultimately got to Haskins. Thankfully we adjusted at halftime (we’ve been good at that this year), and took what they were giving us in the second half....screens.
BUT...that crowd was intense the entire game, and our players admitted afterward that the white out made it difficult to see and hear.
It was a huge challenge for Ohio State, and both teams played an intense game....I’m relieved to come away with a win.
I was very surprised to see Ohio State struggling like they were during the first half. Penn state was just playing amazing defense. But Ohio made the proper adjust with the screens. It was a very intense game.
Watched this game which is unusual for me being an SEC fan but thought it might be a great game, and it was. Pretty even teams but as usual OSU worn PS down with their depth as the game went on. PS defense was gassed by mid way through the 4th and they could no longer stop OSU. Oh and the White OUT was really impressive!

Its wouldnt have been an upset if the home team won playing in THE toughest environment for opponents in football

Ironic we totally did. Ended up losing to Purdue that year SMFH. Ryan day fortunately is pretty good against unranked teams. We haven’t had any crazy big upsets like we did with Meyer. We’ve definitely lost more of the Big Games tho under day. Still love him though go bucks !!

A game of half’s. Penn state had the first we had the second. Turnovers killed penn state giving up momentum. Big time player made big time plays. Great win without your best player 2 dbs lost. Credit to Ryan days for 2nd half playcalling.

I'm neutral here; Natty's could've won this game, just many missed opportunities from what I've seen. Missed field goal and quarterback throwing too hard , his receivers couldn't catch them. The Fans are amazing crowd, love the white looking feathers they wave all night long. It was a very good game.
2 years in a row they blew it. Franklin is a very good recruiter BUT when the games on the line, hes a terrible play caller
ViNe Life: I'm a Buckeye fan and I think it's a shame that there had to be a loser in this game! A whale of a game. Could have gone either way. PSU is an extremely talented team. They're not going away. Hats off to you guys!

Thought Penn St. had it! But my thoughts on Ohio State being rather unbeatable went out the window on this game. They are definitely NOT unbeatable.
Nobody is unbeatable. Remember when Ohio State took Alabama to town or when Clemson took Ohio State to town or when Clemson took Alabama to the wire? Doesn't matter if they win 9/10 times, there is always that one time.

"moral victory"?? lol yeah okay. moral victory my ass they stepped up, dug in, made plays & won a hard fought ballgame. nice try on attempting to take away from The Bucks coming back late in the game and beating a top 10 team on the road in one of the largest, loudest & hardest stadiums in college football to play at.

Both qbs showed really good pocket presence this game.
Dominique Osorio-Davis I have to disagree the first half Ohio State couldn’t get anything together on offense and Wayne has cancer was getting suffocated
Sean Craven, Haskins started out fine, but his receivers dropped three perfect passes, and the o-line wasn’t blocking. He had zero time. After four or so series of that, he started throwing some inaccurate passes, and there was some miscommunication with receivers, which I’m sure the environment contributed immensely to.
They adjusted at halftime, and ultimately Haskins made plays when he needed to in the second half. For this only being his 5th start ever, in that hostile environment, and with the rest of his offense falling apart in the first half...I’d say Haskins showed a lot of poise to lead his team on two touchdown drives within 8 minutes.
This was a huge learning experience for him, and I think he did pretty well, considering.

Ohio Against The World, don’t be so quick to judge. It’s definitely me in the picture, and I know football better than many men I know. My husband normally sits back with a wry grin when men have the expectation that I don’t really understand the game.
A lot of fans were quick to jump all over Haskins during the first half, but he didn’t really have issues until a few series in after the rest of his offense couldn’t get it together. He’s young and inexperienced, but this game was probably a huge moment for his growth as a player.
He pulled himself together at halftime, and ultimately showed the rest of the country what he, and the rest of his offense, were capable of.
He isn’t just talented....he’s a fighter with a will to win.
Lindsay H you have some good points but looking at his stats they weren’t all that great. Especially his completion percentage. I understand the offense of line wasn’t that great in the first half but this video doesn’t show every single play. All in all I think he played well....however he still has work to do

When the secondary is playing off 10 yards you don't keep bombing them deep. It's play calling 101 right there.
There was that 4th down play where they could of just kicked a FG and then the last TD they should have just kicked the XP...

Yeah, I know it. you know it, but I doubt that he does. Goes out of his way to be "unbiased", so to speak. Desmond Howard doesn't come close to having that problem.
Desmond Howard also doesnt have to be a play by play commentator. there's a difference in having a bias as an analyst on a talk show compared to actually calling the game live when fans of both sides are watching. Herbstreit is as professional as it gets. Go look up all his personal stuff he touts his love for the buckeyes there
SheridanJazz lol true. Howard just sort of says whatever is on his mind. which is fine in real life, but as a commentator? dunno about all that. Herbstreit showed his true colors last year on that selection show though haha that was funny.
