Hi Bill. Congratulations, you did well there pal. I hope you're going to buy your Sisters a couple of expensive Christmas presents as a token of your appreciation. They've certainly earned them. Paul. 👍❤️
Lovely model the Bachmann 158! Its so useful to be able to service used stock yourself. An essential skill for any railway modeller. Thanks for sharing this know-how with all of us.
"Pretty good going" is the understatement of the century for six Mk I's for 30 quid. I've never seen coaches in such good condition go for such little money before. You couldn't even by a brand-new coach for less than a tenner back when I was a kid, 25 years ago.
Oh Wow! So much Grease, you need a sponsorship from Q tips 😆- Good Catch sorting those wires, will be good for Years now and a Lovely Smooth Runner to boot 👍🏻
That's a nice addition to the set, wish my sister bought me stuff for my n gauge set.....she just tells me to grow up :(. Love your vids bill, looking forward to the layout update
Fabulous update. I love hearing about second hand items. Really adds to the interest in the hobby and makes collecting a more feasible activity given many of our budgets. Those coaches were a bargain! I paid £30 for three on eBay last year. Nice DMU too. What a lucky man you are to have such excellent sisters!! 😊
Really enjoy your channel. Thank you for all you do to inform and entertain us. I love Mainline blood and custard coaches. Have four which I bought new in the 1980’s. Changed the wheels for metal ones, otherwise just love the things. If you do work on yours, please create a video of it…especially if you decide to put lighting in them. Have thought about that for a long time and never got round to it.
Hi 👋🏻 00Bill 😊 We’d all love sisters like you’ve got lol 😆 So glad you didn’t name the shop that sold you the Barbie Doll class 158…….👍🏻 But you’ve done a fantastic job bringing it back to life 🤩
Yes - it was a good exhibition as I'm only down the road in Newburgh - I went on the Sunday morning so you certainly beat me to the bargain buckets - there were a few trucks in there and some unboxed coaches when I looked! - some good stands and picked up a few bargains too - I thought the East Neuk layout of St.Andrews and Guardbridge particularly good with some great historical info too. I have the 158 in this livery - lovingly known as 'Barbie' livery and prefer it to the current one I have to say.
I have a couple of dozen of those Hornby wheelsets - happy to donate them to the railway if you want them. I use Peco pointwork so they're no use to me.
Hi Shelves look "very well" spaced in the background ! Two more lengths of timber with say 60mm spacers, should double your storage capacity - you might need to rebate some notches to fit around the angle brackets! Wood glue for permanent fix.
Just watch - at 9.13 the pickup on the rear wheel jumped out of position - probably still working on the front of the wheel, but might be worth correcting!
I love the sound of the Bachman DMU,s going around the track

Another great repair job Bill.

Another great fix, Bill. 👍
Very interesting like the use of the sponge 🧽👍
Some good bargains and generous sisters

Good work Bill! You just need a couple of Southern coaches now to build a rake. Maybe one of those classic green parcel vans too.

Sisters can be great. Great video Bill. These videos are a great log and well done.
Your sisters know you so well. Bought you a loco you wanted, in a livery you like with enough wee issues for you to sort as well 😂.

Another one brought back to life, also it's good tp see point motor's on the top like the real thing rather than underneath

Very nice service! Thanks from northern California.

Looking forward to your slant on landscaping, that will really bring the layout to life
Cupar is a really nice show and always busy.
Great stuff
Nothing wrong in mainline stuff
Daft sisters are such a blessing! I know because I have two! 😁
Nice work. Wish I had sisters like yours lol....
😂it's very easy to get the plug for the lighting the wrong way around 😊. I had one of these units, years ago. Sold it to a friend 😊
I reckon you got a bargain with that class158. My sister would never be that generous.
cool vid of a train show thanks lee

Hi Bill, great video workshops as usual, just wondering if you own a compressor could you not fit a small fitting to blow the fluffage out.
Just watch - at 9.13 the pickup on the rear wheel jumped out of position - probably still working on the front of the wheel, but might be worth correcting!
Well spotted but don't worry it got sorted before running. Not everything gets filmed or makes the edit.
Nice looking coaches a bargain
Really enjoy your videos , is the spray you ´ scooch ´ with ´ just a can of wd40,?
Hi Bill, firstly do you think the Bachman models are currently better then the Hornby, secondly, will your sisters take me a model railway exhibition😃
I'm an only child. Sometimes I wish I had daft sisters. Landscaping us fun.
If there's anyone who can be confident in buying a poor running loco/train and sorting it out it's you.
The price for the updated version is just silly over the top 😢 I would like one, but even with discount , they are still over £200 😢😮
The next time your sisters are with you, can you ask them to get my some secondhand Fleischmann Trains?
