      Raymond Gonzalez no I don't expect them to be nice but the stuff that Cruz was saying like Cody had no chance against him because he beat Faber twice and he thinks Faber taught Cody everything he knows. Also he kept saying he is a riddle that no one can ever figure out and he he's on another level than everybody else. It's funny because I remember one interview Cruz said Cody's ignorance is his bliss... such irony because now it sounds like Cruz's ignorance was his bliss. #karmaisabitch

      @Mossimo Tiberi If you're referring to his loss to Triple C. In full honesty, can you truly believe he lost that and it wasn't a blatant early stoppage? @@yooshatarique019 that is true but the question is what do you do in that situation if you’re the ref? Do you let him take the shots and let him get up, or do you stop it before he can get up with two seconds left in the fight? Reffing is a very tough job so 🤷‍♂️

    • @monkeyboy275bobo8
      @monkeyboy275bobo8 2 года назад

      I dont think a reff should ever regret the decision to prioritize a fighters health even if it turns out to be the wrong call and may even cost him the Job because Dana is pissed about it. Sadly nowerdays he doesnt life up to that anymore but when he was heavily critizised for the Lawler Askren stoppage Herb made a very good argument why it definitely was the right desicion to stop the fight in that moment even after it turned out Lawler was clearly conscious the whole time.
      Since he couldnt 100% tell what was going on he had to think about the worst case scenario which is Lawler actually going limb and stop resisting while a olympic wrestler who was knowen for his immense grip strengh back then is squeezing his neck as hard as possible since it was not just a normal rear naked choke. So every second it takes for Herb to stop the fight could cause major damage to Lawlers neck. Imagine the shitstorm he´d get for that.
      So yeah i think when your decisions can completely ruin someones life beeing better save than sorry is always right.
      And sure as a fight fan i hate early stoppages but as a fan of the fighters i actually wish we saw more of them and that it would also be more encouraged by the community for fighters and corners to accept defeat to fight another day instead of going threw rounds of unnecceseiry punishment just to please Dana and the fans.

    6:30 Dom is BRILLIANT. If he would have pulled back Garbrandt would’ve had a much tougher fight and probably lost the fight because then he would have to chase cruz and that wouldn’t be good. But Cruz chased him and knowingly fought the fight where he was at a disadvantage and STILL went 5 rounds.
