I thought Cody had a LOT of potential, but he never fully developed his fighting IQ. Once Cody fought T.J Dillashaw twice and lost he's never ever been the same. Watching this fight and how good he was to now its completely shocking that he actually beat Dominick Cruz. Especially how he did. It's just crazy.

Crazy how Cody looked untouchable against Dom and now it seems like so long ago. Cruz has stayed ranked in or around the top 10, but is nearing retirement. Cody's been finished time and again and could be forced into an early one. Also, Dom had one of the best post-fight interviews ever. Took the loss like the champ he's always been.
I watched that 207 post fight presser as I layed on a couch, defeated by life having just lost the love of my life because of my drinking and being depressed. It did move me, really helped in a dark time. I hated it at the time but since I got sober I really dug into it. Winners mindset. I've been sober from everything but herb since 5/25/17. I went in 1/17 but relapsed in program and went right back in. Thanks Dom.

He could have gone on the biggest skid and I wouldn't care but to lose to the guy who became his arch nemesis, twice and once where he clearly had the tools to take the CEO of EPO apart but fought (either by choice or instinct) on pure emotion and threw his skills and head movement out of the window to brawl. Never fails to make me sad.

TJ was living rent free in Cody’s head and he fought with no game plan.... In both matches with TJ he had pretty much zero head movement and went for a knockout with every hook....
