Problem is. DDP has beaten better fighters than Izzy has. Cannoneer and Kelvin weren't even top 5 meanwhile Rob was number 1 for a year and facing 2-3 that whole time.
He definitely has faced less good guys than DDP and he just go the belt.
Only legitimate number one contender Izzy faced his whole run. Was Whittaker when he rematched him.

That’s not how the ufc is scored- If it goes to a decision it’s on a round by round basis. One round of very heavy damage doesn’t matter as much as four winning rounds of very little damage does. It’s always been scored like this.
