Rashford is genuinely one of the least intelligent elite level footballers I have ever seen. It does not matter who the coach is. United are going absolutely no where as long as any manager at United keeps trying to shoehorn him into the team. I genuinely believe there has been something going on behind the scenes that has forced manager after manager at United to keep starting Rashford. Because any sane and objective observer can see he offers absolutely nothing to the game when not scoring goals. Rashford needs to go.

He isn't afraid of benching them, but he knows that if he does some of them will completely give up, together with their friends. Crying about garnacho being 19 and taken off but also wants him to play every game because "if ya good enough ya old enough" but then when he rightly gets subbed for a poor performance then it's a matter of age and putting the scapegoat on him. The trend of giving youngsters game time when they're performing badly is why many players put in poor performances at this club. Being treated like you cannot be subbed for a poor performance tells the player that he can perform poorly and won't get subbed. Exact mentality rashford has. Subbing garnacho will teach him from young that Making careless mistakes is not good enough.

I do think the old guard should be cleared out in an ideal world, maybe including Bruno, but saying he was bad today is unfair. If you want to say average because he wasn’t doing a KDB or Odegaard job, then fine, but that’s also because all players are different.
I don’t agree with the pile on Bruno lately. I’m not sure his style of play is right for us but that’s a different question.

United cant afford to clear out the players. A lot of people dont understand how the economics work within a football club.
No team in their right mind will be paying market value for these players who are still in long term contracts.
If we flogged them cheap or for free, then the balance sheet is fucked and that affects FFP.
These players are here to stay to be paid out. Its as simple as that.
