Alternative treatments can be just as effective and in certain instances much more effective than traditional medicine. There is no "law" that says only traditional medicine works. The pharmaceutical industry has a great financial interest which they no doubt need to promote, and certain sources indicate their medications do just "enough" to keep the patient from being cured so he/she can keep purchasing more medicine on a continual basis. In other instances, traditional medicine can prove rather dangerous. Take black seed as a cure for cancer to the common cold. But why would the pharmaceutical industry promote that when they stand to lose an immense fortune that is currently at their disposal?

Dr. Fauci won't compromise the truth, even for the president, on a world camera. Clear truth is what "originally" made a name, for Dr. Oz. Once a 'trusted" name. That was when Oprah, also trusted him. It wasn't until long after he was on his own, that he changed. I guess the human body has only so many actual parts and problems, that make good daytime TV, so they slid offside, to keep the money flowing.
There is a Poem, The Spring and the Fall, by Edna St. Vincent Milay, that has the poignant line, ." 'Tis not love's going hurt my days. But that it went in little ways." The same can be said for the truth. They started off, the very picture of clarity, integrity and common sense. That is "why" they got Oprah's attention. Once they each were on their own and had to produce watchable TV and had ratings and ad executives to answer for, was when they started to slip, bit by bit. They began "creating" TV, to keep it going, after the solid content ran out. Would it seem fair to "blame" you for someone you tried to befriend and help in grade school, decades after they went their own way? Blaming Oprah for the changes, in those two grown men, is basically doing the same thing they are doing; needlessly introducing reality-show drama, for the sake of conflict. You know very well, she wouldn't endorse most of what they are doing, these days. They are not "her" dogs, that went out and bit someone! "When" they were sensible and uniquely honest men, she helped them, because "that" is what she likes to endorse. They are their own men, on their own for decades. She can't tell them what to do and "make" them "behave".

There is also his living in NJ but planning to run for national elective office in Penn. So, I don't think it's the fact that he's now running as a Republican that is bringing all the criticism. He was always getting a lot of criticism. For all that he is on the faculty of a very prestigious ivy League school. It's amazing.

What is just as unacceptable is graduating medical students early so they can join the "front lines". As the curve appears to flattening, the need for as many hands on deck as possible is waning. If these students have actually been granted diplomas already, they should still be required to complete,the coursework thestill had left to do as the pandemic struck.

This is sad. I used to look up to him, following his advice. As time went on, his suggestions about “miracle” supplements deterred me away. Now when covid came around and started making his absurd comments about getting kids going back to school and brushing off the kids that may die from the virus, really struck a nerve.

I have a lot of respect for all the doctors trying to get him out because they are not about the money they're about treating their patients responsibly with technology and science not with snake oil treatments used to gain money. The whole time I was in nursing school every nutritionist that I talked to or took their class always said that diets or these little cure-alls arw not the wait to get to it get to or maintain a healthy body weight they always said that you need to eat healthy and move your body and that your body takes in nutrients from food better than it will ever take it in from a supplement.

First off, what he said was completely made up and even the parts that might have a little truth were exaggerated to the point of ridiculousness. Second, instead of addressing the points from the letter, he went into an ad hominem attack. This just goes to show that he knows that the letter was completely true and he has no defense so he tries to divert your attention away from the fact that he gets millions of dollars from sponsors of his show every year to promote quackery, unproven products, and products that are proven dangerous or not to work at all.
The labeling argument is one given by people that have no scientific knowledge whatsoever and are scared of something they don't understand even the most basic concepts about. The labeling argument was started and is currently perpetuated entirely by the organic food corporate giants and make no mistake, they are over $100 billion a year industry. Organic food is a marketing ploy and nothing more. They want food labeled so they can eventually try and have it banned (which will never happen). Were you aware that there are only 2 organic food companies left on Earth that are mom and pop private owned companies? Every single organic food item you ever bought was made by huge corporations. Every single organic food company on the planet except those 2 are owned by corporations like Kelloggs, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mars/M&M, Hershey's, Campbell's soup, Miller/Coors, and General Mills. Organic food is nothing more than a marketing scam to corner the market place by deceiving gullible people into believing that there is somehow a difference in the product and therefore they should spend 3 or 4 times the price for the exact same thing. There is no reason to label something if it is the exact same thing and every piece of research, science, data, evidence, and proof from every study done around the planet has never been able to show that GM food is any more dangerous than any other food or is even different at all. Also, no one has ever been hospitalized from it. It's against the law to force labels on products unless they are different or dangerous and neither has ever been proven. Until a legitimate and peer-reviewed study proves that they are different and/or dangerous, then it is illegal to force labels. Why don't you want to label your unvaccinated child? Same thing.
Also, 70% of organic food in the US comes from China because they allow the use of DDT and other chemicals the US does not allow. DDT and these other highly dangerous chemicals are approved for use on organic food as they are all natural.

I like Dr. Oz. because he uses food and natural alternatives to help people. The number ONE way to change your health is through diet and exercise. The average doctor spends as little as 7 hours in medical school covering this topic.

Alternative treatments can be just as effective and in certain instances much more effective than traditional medicine. There is no "law" that says only traditional medicine works. The pharmaceutical industry has a great financial interest which they no doubt need to promote, and certain sources indicate their medications do just "enough" to keep the patient from being cured so he/she can keep purchasing more medicine on a continual basis. In other instances, traditional medicine can prove rather dangerous. Take black seed as a cure for cancer to the common cold. But why would the pharmaceutical industry promote that when they stand to lose an immense fortune that is currently at their disposal?
I've watched this man and I have to be honest, I've never learn anything from him. He's more about cosmetics then medicine. Just like the program called the 3 doctors. That another one, gossip and nothing is all that's on there. I've always had a feeling about this man.
