- Welcome to Markshall estate park run in Colchester. We decided to go with this one as it looks very pretty and was recommended by a few subscribers. Was there yesterday great course and there was 214 runners try out my local ( Clare country park Suffolk) old railway station and castle also a cafe.
214 is such a good turnout! Well put that one on our list
Great vlog mate, I saw myself in this video. Keep up the good work, my official time from the parkrun was 32mins 01 seconds, and my PB is 31mins 33 seconds

Yes took a chance today, wasn’t too hot so thought we’d be okay 👌
Both laps aren’t equal, that long walk to the start is the uphill you found on the second “full” lap. Because of this, the start is higher than the finish which makes this a net downhill course. So despite the hill, you only run up it once. You’re right, it’s a bit uneven in places but it can be run in road shoes, even throughout the winter. If you can handle the uneven surfaces and do a bit of course study beforehand this is very much a PB course (because you spend more time running down than you do running up).
