There's so much good luck in this like 25 second combat sequence. Even his positioning is lucky, if he was at a slightly different angle or there was a higher wall behind him the nuke still would've killed him.

Fun Fact: even IF the nuke hit him, VATS gives you a whopping 90% damage reduction during the firing sequence. That’s better than any power armor you could ever find, and all you need to do is press Q and m1.

Which are cubes that are inside the character.
For instance every truck in a videogame; its geometry lod looks like a tesla cybertruck; which is where i think elon got the idea from.

I remember first picking up Fallout 4 not long after it came out and watching people playing it on RUclips. I found this video and thinking it was so funny and sharing it with everyone I could. I stumbled over this video in my recommended just now and wow! Other than the mini nuke clipping through you this entire this is so perfect and absolutely a bethesda game. The way your first shot misses, the way the camera just dramatically zooms in and out in vats as you do nothing and then eventually reload, the way you hear the nuke coming at you as it whistles across the sky, and then the best part when you get enough time to turn around and see the nuke go off. Absolutely flawless.

You're not invincible while in VATS, it only increases your damage resistance and even then, not by a whole lot.

While aiming in vats, you're unprotected, but during the shooting sequence, you can't be harmed

@@yolkiandeji7649 There is absolutely NO way you are surviving a Fatman at that range. If it made contact they'd both have died without question. I fired one from a furher range at lvl 130 and it still killed both of us
