Do you find you experience any heel slippage? I got the higher version goretex ones and get enough heel slip that I wouldn’t want to keep them. I was wondering if it’s the same with these?
Good trail running shoe for sure. I eat as much rice and sugar the night before and then feel hella motivated next day to be more active in my ACG kit.

1) Actually L-XL Bucket hat fits even better (I know we have different head sizes but It's just better) These hats kinda tight in general. 2) I tried both sizes 9.5 and 10 and this time I went for US 10(fossil), it feels more comfortable has more room for your feet to breath considering they are for spring/summer season and that snug feel of 9.5 can be noticeable after a few hours. 3) If you think about it you don't really need Gortex because it may work against you in hot weather. When it's cold outside and hot inside your shoes vapor go out but if outside temperature is even higher than in your shoes, your feet will get extra sweaty with Gortex membrane so it doesn't really make sense to wear Gortex in summer. 4) Like I said earlier these are good sneakers but don't must have but I still got them. Original MF are better tho you feel great, you feel special wearing them in winter. (sorry for bad eng)
oh ok. we didnt get the release for the L/XL. we only got M/L and im pretty happy with it. i feel ilke if i got the L/XL it would look like one of those big sunflower hats that women wear in the spring time on me haha coz my head small at the top and big at the bottom. like an egg haha ah i see i see. well im glad you had the luxury to try on the 9.5 and the 10. i always have to take the chance and go for one size. but i never felt the snugness on the lows like i did on the highs. that was tight and i could've went half a size up with those. but these lows are no problem at all. weird ey
@@KIXPLORE yeah, I can understand your points, when I tried 9,5 they felt good(especially after 9,5 original MF) I was about to buy them but then like nah let me try 10 size because of recommendations on internet and they feel great, idk how to say, "natural" I guess. You know, as long as you put your feet in the shoes you can tell this is how they suppose to fit. Pretty secure but no any pressure and just soft react foam. Im a 11.5 in most Nike shoes (Jordan 1, Jordan 5, AF1, etc) and 11.5 in Adidas Ultraboost. I ordered the Fossil version of this shoe in size 12 and with a thick winter sock, it fits me snug. With a thin sock, it fits me more relaxed. Definitely buy half size up, do not buy them true to size. I literally have no extra space in the toe box coming from a 11.5 TTS into a size 12 ACG Mountain Fly Low.
oh really? i see i see. but the problem with me, is if i went to size 10 when im a TTS 9.5, id have too much space in the toe box. but im a wide footer so TTS fits perfect for me. i guess itll be good to see what others might recommend as well when they get their pairs :) but im happy you got the size you want though.
@@KIXPLORE i got lucky because I saw other youtube videos before ordering with older versions of this shoe, and it was the same deal. i cant really give my opinion on the terrex. i've heard good things about them. but i've never had any problems with the MF low or Hi. if you can get your hands on both and then try them on, then just return the one you dont like OR you can keep both hehe
Nice review, thanks. Hope Melbourne improves to allow lockdowns to subside. How wide is your foot? I’m a 4E, can wear a 14 if wide, otherwise have to rock a 15.
hey BJ thanks for watching my video. thats a really good question. i've never measured how wide my foot is before. but geez your foot size is almost double the size of my foot hahah im only a size 9.5. but it must be hard to find ACG shoes in your size. i hear size 13 up are very rare or hard to cop
@@KIXPLORE At least there’s options for more shoes today than back in the day. My first Jordan’s back in 1990 were 13s…, split them pretty quickly. 🤪 Was cool to pick up the 2016 retro release in a 15. Thanks for the reply, appreciated. ✌🏼
yeah you're right about that! black easier to keep clean and i guess it would've been hard to keep these waterproof since they are low cut. but still an awesome shoe
hey robert, well i think a lot of the shoes that nike makes are for running. this one isnt different. but i cant really say if this would be perfect for running as i dont do any trail running as im really bad at it. just walking i can sometimes i sprain my ankle on trails hehe but i would assume that they would be good for your feet because they have react cushioning and the rubber big toe feature. these are quite big and chunky though.
@@KIXPLORE thanks for the reply. I trail run because I can't focus on a boring road run lol. Good to know that they are chunky. I bought a pair of Nike trail running shoes that I never wore because their shoes run small. What a shame because I love the way they look.

@@excelsiusprime OMG I AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH!! yes we need more light coloured sneakers like the Terra Antarktik. theyre still my favourite acg sneaker. but even the silouette is dope. thats why it still looks great in the other colours
Hey man, nice vid. I have the highs and I want to get these as well. Also, where are you with the 5km restrictions? Just curious... we should do stuff like that here in the US. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Hey George, thank you for watching the video. the Highs are great too. in terms of the 5km restriction we have eased up on that. Melbourne hasnt had any new covid cases in the past week i think so we're allowed to go out and about again. but thanks for watching let me know how you go if you get the MFLs :)
For sure! I just ordered the lows in the khaki with the orange laces for not that much higher than retail! Stay safe there and I look forward to more of your videos!
Mate, it does have water resistant coating. You can see it staying dry after you poured the water on it. Coating doesn't stop water from seeping through ventilation and seams though. At best, this is mostly a fine weather hiking shoe that can handle light rain.
Hey Chrisitian, you can try following ACG accounts on Instagram. i joined little Nike ACG enthusiast groups that keep me updated with the newest drops for NIKE ACG hehe

@@KIXPLORE thanks so much for the answer🤓 For these mountain fly, I have to try them on because with my wide feet I always have issues with this kind of shoes (I use to order 2 sizes and returned the small one 🤦🏻♂️) I guess I probably have to go +0.5 or 1 full size up. I wait for more color ways 😬
@@dou828 ah i see. yeah its always hard when you have wide feet. but be mindful that i think there might not be anymore colours in the mountain fly lows because we only saw three colours in total. unless they collab with another store so maybe get these now if you really want them unless you wana wait for another sneaker ACG silouette to come out :)
aww thats a shame Alonso. and dont worry i got your back hehe ill be doing a review on the KARST backpack tomorrow. i hope you'll be able to watch it :)
hello i do believe they have some pretty good grip. brand new the lugs will definitely give you a higher advantage of girp compared to regular shoes. it has sticky rubber technology in the sole, but its not like they'll glue you to any slippery surface if you know what i mean
Hey Lorenzo, i've tried them on and i love them. i wouldnt return them, well maybe id exchange them for the fossil colourway if i could but id still keep them hehe the price is quite high i admit ($250AUD) but i do believe you're still getting your moneys worth especially if you use this recreationally. but if you're wearing it just for looks i do belive there are better sneakers out there that you could get
Regarding sizing, its strange cos my feet are really skinny so I thought id stay TTS with the highs and go with a UK 5. I I really could have done with a 5.5, so I went up half size with the lows and they're perfect. Gonna have to stretch out the highs somehow lol!
yeah thats great. i have wide feet so id have a problem going TTS or up half a size. TTS tight on the sides, go up half a size and there's too much space in the toe box haha
While I actually love these as trail runners because of their cushy low impact feel, I have noticed that only three runs in, lugs are already ripping off. I think the rubber must not be very strong. That is sad because it is such an expensive shoe to have tread ripping off when most would just wear down gradually. I guess that's why Nike did not market these or make them in volume enough to compete with other elite trail running shoes.
They are *not* meant to compete with elite trail running shoes, but are for sportstyle/gorpcore/etc. On the Nike website, Nike ACG boots/shoes are in the Lifestyle section - not the Trail Running shoes section. Nike Trail pro runners don't race in ACGs.
good question. i have no idea. i dont think there is any shoe out there that cant be faked. but i dont think there are any of these as of right now. but im sure if nike acg shoes got really hyped and in demand, there will be a fake of it somewhere
hello. i've had 2 people comment say that they went a size up and they were happy with it. so maybe itll be ok for you too. but i can only give my observations for the shoe i have. and im happy going with TTS. but i think itll be ok not going a size up because you can loosen the laces a lot more than the highs. let me know how you go when you get yours :)
yeah its a shame they're not waterproof like its high version counter part but i still think they're formidable shoe. very comfortable and useful for the dry outdoors. oh yeah, i've honestly tried putting weights on the shoes when i do the water testing but i could never find anyting small and heavy enough to put into the shoes haha let me know if you have any ideas haha
Hello there thank you for taking the time to watch my video :) unfortunately the Mountain Fly Low it doesnt have the Gore-tex waterproof material. it would've been hard to make a lower version to be waterproof. but they're still a great hiking/ outdoor shoe. with the react cushioning its hard to go wrong :)
hahaha i think its only one day now right? hehe i hope you're able to enjoy them in the outdoors as we are currently in lockdown at the moment and cant go anywhere
Why would you not get the GORE-TEX version?? Expecting something to be waterproof. That's not waterproof is pretty ridiculous. The fabric itself is obviously going to soak up moisture if it gets pre-exposed too long, unlike the Gore-Tex which is specifically made to repel
hehe thank you for your comment. when these first came out, NO GTX version of the MFL had been made yet. so it may seem a little funny now when i couldve gotten the GTX version straight away. but it wasnt released yet then
yeah they can be like that unfortunately. but the harder it is to open, usually the harder it is to take off which is what you want when you're hiking.
yeah unfortunately they're not waterproof unlike theyre big brother the MFHs. but its all good. im assuming that these are water repellent in some ways so still great for hiking in some rain hehe

i cant really give my opinion on the terrex. i've heard good things about them. but i've never had any problems with the MF low or Hi. if you can get your hands on both and then try them on, then just return the one you dont like OR you can keep both hehe
I think the black colourway is perfect, easy to keep clean longer and goes with anything, shame about the waterproofing though
yeah you're right about that! black easier to keep clean and i guess it would've been hard to keep these waterproof since they are low cut. but still an awesome shoe
Are these recommended for trail running or would they be bad for your feet?
hey robert, well i think a lot of the shoes that nike makes are for running. this one isnt different. but i cant really say if this would be perfect for running as i dont do any trail running as im really bad at it. just walking i can sometimes i sprain my ankle on trails hehe but i would assume that they would be good for your feet because they have react cushioning and the rubber big toe feature.
these are quite big and chunky though.
@@KIXPLORE thanks for the reply. I trail run because I can't focus on a boring road run lol. Good to know that they are chunky. I bought a pair of Nike trail running shoes that I never wore because their shoes run small. What a shame because I love the way they look.
@@bayarearob ah ok. maybe try something different to listen to while you're running along the road. i love running in urban areas just as much as i hike the great outdoors. great way to enjoy it is with a nice podcast. oh wait we're talking about shoes here haha yeah, why didnt you try get those trail running sneakers in your size?
@@KIXPLORE I have ADHD lol, trails keep you guessing and your mind occupied. I was lazy and didn't send them back in time. I need to try and sell them. I subscribed to your channel
oh! haha trails do have better views though. but yeah, i hope they retro those trail running shoes that you wanted before.
and thank you so much for subscribing. i super appreciate it :)
yea! but it's a triple black one! haha we should switch, i got mine in the same khaki colour hahaha thanks for taking the hit for the early peep haha awesome video as always!
haha its funny how we both got the oppsoite of the colour that we wanted haha but yeah, thanks for watching bro! i super appreciate it.
I was really hoping that they would release the Haven color way but later went to with all black bc the fosil color way was taken in my size
yeah idk if nike acg make enough pairs or just people buy them all out straight away but they're always selling out pretty quick.
but maybe if you got some grey paint and used that on your all black pair you can make yourself some Haven collabs hehe :)
@@KIXPLORE we need more white, light tone ACG sneakers, white and yellow TERRA ANTARKTIK is the best colorway so far.
@@excelsiusprime OMG I AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH!! yes we need more light coloured sneakers like the Terra Antarktik. theyre still my favourite acg sneaker. but even the silouette is dope. thats why it still looks great in the other colours
@@KIXPLORE yeah, every time you show them I pause the video lol.
Melbourne hasnt had any new covid cases in the past week i think so we're allowed to go out and about again. but thanks for watching
let me know how you go if you get the MFLs :)
For sure! I just ordered the lows in the khaki with the orange laces for not that much higher than retail! Stay safe there and I look forward to more of your videos!
@@georgevictory7231 oh great you got the fossil colour of the MFLs. i wish i couldve gotten that one. but oh well hehe
thanks once again for watching
Mate, it does have water resistant coating. You can see it staying dry after you poured the water on it. Coating doesn't stop water from seeping through ventilation and seams though.
At best, this is mostly a fine weather hiking shoe that can handle light rain.
Great review man I ordered mine today
wow nice work there!! hope you enjoy them as much as i do :)
How do you keep up with acg shoe releases? None of the usual sneaker sites I follow really cover these type of shoes.
Nike app. Has all new drops 💧
Hey Chrisitian,
you can try following ACG accounts on Instagram. i joined little Nike ACG enthusiast groups that keep me updated with the newest drops for NIKE ACG hehe
Is it suitable for running?
Great video as usual... and your English is so understandable for a French guy like me 😬
I like your smooth style and easy living attitude, keep going like this buddy👌🏼🙏🏼
Peace ☮️ from France 🇫🇷🤓
Ps: What is the id on the Yeezy you showed?
Bonjour Dou! :)
thanks for watching my video and i'm glad you liked it i super appreciate all your kind words and ill keep doing my best hehe
the yeezys are the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in the static colourway. they're my favourite shoe for travelling. i acutlaly have 3 different colours of them and i cant recommend them enough hehe but these mountain fly lows could be my next favourite for travelling :)
@@KIXPLORE thanks so much for the answer🤓
For these mountain fly, I have to try them on because with my wide feet I always have issues with this kind of shoes (I use to order 2 sizes and returned the small one 🤦🏻♂️)
I guess I probably have to go +0.5 or 1 full size up.
I wait for more color ways 😬
@@dou828 ah i see. yeah its always hard when you have wide feet. but be mindful that i think there might not be anymore colours in the mountain fly lows because we only saw three colours in total. unless they collab with another store so maybe get these now if you really want them
unless you wana wait for another sneaker ACG silouette to come out :)
@@KIXPLORE wait and see 🙂, never mind if I pass on these, acg always take my money with another new or old silhouette🤷🏻♂️😂
@@dou828 hahahaha i know right. ACG should just keep my bank details on hand so they can just take it from when another release drops haha
I recently sent back a pair of Acg Lowcat because the fit was way too tight. Anyone knows how the feel on a wide feet?
I want them so bad but they not on stock do a review on the new acg backpack
aww thats a shame Alonso. and dont worry i got your back hehe ill be doing a review on the KARST backpack tomorrow. i hope you'll be able to watch it :)
@@KIXPLORE I for sure will the backpacks looks dope man i wunna get it
Hi, I just want to ask about how is the outsole rubber while walking in wet conditions? Does it provide a good grip or not?
hello i do believe they have some pretty good grip. brand new the lugs will definitely give you a higher advantage of girp compared to regular shoes. it has sticky rubber technology in the sole, but its not like they'll glue you to any slippery surface if you know what i mean
Great video, keep rocking ✌🏻
Having tried them, would you still buy these shoes, also considering the (quite) high price?
Hey Lorenzo, i've tried them on and i love them. i wouldnt return them, well maybe id exchange them for the fossil colourway if i could but id still keep them hehe
the price is quite high i admit ($250AUD) but i do believe you're still getting your moneys worth especially if you use this recreationally. but if you're wearing it just for looks i do belive there are better sneakers out there that you could get
Thanks for the review
you're very welcome. thanks for watching :)
@@KIXPLORE just subscribed. I want these shoes. I have started to be intrigued by ACG. Thanks for your heart opinion
Thumbs up for the lengths you go for the review
thank you Jack! i super appreciate you noticing the lengths that i go through hehe
So go a half size up from normal?
Just got my fossil pair in hand, just done a review on my channel. Love them!!
great work Nat. i saw the video. i love them too
While I actually love these as trail runners because of their cushy low impact feel, I have noticed that only three runs in, lugs are already ripping off. I think the rubber must not be very strong. That is sad because it is such an expensive shoe to have tread ripping off when most would just wear down gradually. I guess that's why Nike did not market these or make them in volume enough to compete with other elite trail running shoes.
You are just going to hard brah. Good on you though. I wear my shoes down to the midsole before they go to landfill.
They are *not* meant to compete with elite trail running shoes, but are for sportstyle/gorpcore/etc. On the Nike website, Nike ACG boots/shoes are in the Lifestyle section - not the Trail Running shoes section. Nike Trail pro runners don't race in ACGs.
Great video. Thank you
thank you Rudy! :)
Got mine the second they dropped on Snkrs
NIIKE work!!! hope you enjoy them as much as i did :)
@@KIXPLORE Dude I can't wait they show up tomorrow! Great channel and content!
@@stevegarcia531 hehe, i put them on my feet straight away once i got them delivered to the door hehe
Do they fit true to size?
yes i would like to say these Lows for me Fit TTS. the high version you can go up half a size if you're a wide footer.
Yeah shoe sells out on Nike site, pops up on dozens of third-rate sellers with HUGE markup, in real time...
yeah that happens with a lot of products nike sells. its the way the world for resellers.
It’s not advertised as waterproof but they should have used gore-tex like the high versions
Ordered mine today!!!
NNIIIECCEEE!!!! let me know how you go when you get them :)
@@KIXPLORE got chu bro!!
Did u go true to size or half size up?
@@chrischance1063 true to size! Still the most comfortable shoe I wore to work
Dope video! Keep killing it
Hey Marvin! thank you so much :)
are there any fake nike acg sneakers of this mod and if so how do i spot them?
good question. i have no idea. i dont think there is any shoe out there that cant be faked. but i dont think there are any of these as of right now. but im sure if nike acg shoes got really hyped and in demand, there will be a fake of it somewhere
Aw man. The hi’s were bit so widefoot friendly so i thought these wouldnt be either and ordered half size up :/.
What would you recommend in sizing?
hello. i've had 2 people comment say that they went a size up and they were happy with it. so maybe itll be ok for you too. but i can only give my observations for the shoe i have. and im happy going with TTS. but i think itll be ok not going a size up because you can loosen the laces a lot more than the highs. let me know how you go when you get yours :)
Say that again? They run small?
They remind me of the Bofwin 270’s!
oh yeah true! they have that similar look with the shoe laces
tnx man
all good
The low looks like Pegasus trail had a baby with a kyrie.
hehehe thats a pretty god point of view there.
@@KIXPLORE it makes sense too. It’s about traction and stability for both activities.
@@insearchofYAH yeah true, with the sticky rubber it has pretty good grip especially outdoors
Trying to get a size 12 in these is like looking for unicorn shit.
These reminds me of the yeezys 350 for some reason
hehe yeah they have those yeezy 350 vibes dont they hehe
Man I didnt know about this ACG line from Nike!!! Want to test them all out OMG
hehe yeah, NIKE ACG is pretty cool. let me know what you end up testing :)
Not being waterproof means a big no no for me. Idea for next time put some weight in your shoes so that they don’t float.
yeah its a shame they're not waterproof like its high version counter part but i still think they're formidable shoe. very comfortable and useful for the dry outdoors.
oh yeah, i've honestly tried putting weights on the shoes when i do the water testing but i could never find anyting small and heavy enough to put into the shoes haha let me know if you have any ideas haha
Got a Crack in the material didn't go through any harsh weather
Really nice video to catch!
But I was wondering that is Mountain fly low really made of Gore-Tex??? It’s really bothering me if I should buy it😂
Hello there thank you for taking the time to watch my video :)
unfortunately the Mountain Fly Low it doesnt have the Gore-tex waterproof material. it would've been hard to make a lower version to be waterproof.
but they're still a great hiking/ outdoor shoe. with the react cushioning its hard to go wrong :)
I like the black ones but $250 is too much I like to go or text be nice if they came in more colors
How much po
Another 2 days mate 😅 I am here with ya
hahaha i think its only one day now right? hehe i hope you're able to enjoy them in the outdoors as we are currently in lockdown at the moment and cant go anywhere

thank you thank you for watching the video :)
damn these look good
hehe yeah they're pretty awesome. take a look at the new GTX version. they're pretty cool too
Why would you not get the GORE-TEX version?? Expecting something to be waterproof. That's not waterproof is pretty ridiculous. The fabric itself is obviously going to soak up moisture if it gets pre-exposed too long, unlike the Gore-Tex which is specifically made to repel
hehe thank you for your comment. when these first came out, NO GTX version of the MFL had been made yet. so it may seem a little funny now when i couldve gotten the GTX version straight away. but it wasnt released yet then
Mine are hard af to put on
yeah they can be like that unfortunately. but the harder it is to open, usually the harder it is to take off which is what you want when you're hiking.
can i have that shoe for my birthday this coming march 🥺

eyyyy!!! nice i'm in like west! hehe

Nike (Nai-kee) Greek goddess of victory! Not Nike pronounced as like, bike, hike, etc.. come on man.. this brand has been around for quite a while!!
Wtf they're not waterproof. Such a disappointment. I was looking for rain shoes!
yeah unfortunately they're not waterproof unlike theyre big brother the MFHs. but its all good. im assuming that these are water repellent in some ways so still great for hiking in some rain hehe
“Lock down” lmao the world we living in smh
yup. *sigh* lol
How to pronounce ACG: "Yeezy-G"
