I promise it’s nothing like Yakuza lover 😂 I believe the volumes are only available for pre-order in English but the series is SO good. The author is Asuka Konishi. She has one other series called Haru’s Curse which is also really good. Her art is fab! Another series I think you may like is Spice and Wolf. The landscape/background art in the series is amazing! ❤

Fair warning the manga is VERY hard to get! It took me almost 3 years to collect it! I finished it November this year! ITS SO SATISFYING TO HAVE THEM ALL!! ITS AMAZING!! I hope you enjoy it! Volume 5 is definitely my favourite!
Her other works are absolutely stunning (Pandora hearts) that is sadly out of print. But I do recommend reading it! You’ll be able to see similarities and references in VNC that reference Pandora hearts! Her style is so amazing and to see her break away from PH and create Vanitas is super heartwarming! Her art gets better with each chapter and her worlds are so enchanting

have you read Bloody+Mary? it is a series I rarely see but it have something to do with vampire and it is really great one of the thing that made me into vampire you can say and the art style is really cool too. for sure it has some kind of elements like the vanitas and that is probably why I love vanitas lol. the manga is just about a man who is a priest(?) and all of the vampire scare of him even though his blood is the best out of all human(because he come from some kind of cool lineage of family i guess-). they all feared of him because he have this cross thingy on his neck which supposed to transform and kill any vampire but they figured out that he couldn't use his power because of "some stuff" now there's a vampire who want to die so badly that the vampire itself didn't know why. he travel across just to meet the priest, Maria. to kill him because he have a red hair(red hair vampire is hard to kill and only Maria can kill them) so when they both meet, they decide to make a deal. the vampire(called as bloody mary ig) will protect the priest from being killed and the priest will figured out how to unlock his power and use the cross thingy to kill all of the vampire across the world AND THEN he will kill the vampire as the vampire wish so. a win-win situation. so it's basically a journey full of thrill, love, desperation, history, and twist. However, the Book of Vanitas finds HIM when a strange man named Vanitas shows up and uses the book to heal vampires that are attacking people. The series then follows Noé and Vanitas as they become an unlikely and strange duo. It’s a lot more involved than that but that’s how the first volume goes!

Yen press series is so expensive and i don't think tbhk manga price is reasonable considering how thin the series is , i usually buy tbhk volume from book depository because most of the manga there are sold lower than their retail price and they sell tbhk manga for almost the same price or sometimes the same price as viz volume but since i live outside of the uk it took forever to arrive TvT
