Hey before you add boost to the 1uz. You should work on porting the head some, or switching to 3uz heads, as they breathe better than the terrible 1uz heads. You will pick up a lot of power by that alone.
Because that's methy. Unless your catch can is used for coolant only you will be inducing contaminates like oil or power steering fluid or worse ...trans fluid. A table spoon of of trans fluid will turn into a 1/4 lb of muck that loves to pack into a steam port in the heads or clog up a heater core....just use fresh coolant .
@@mathiasmang848 I work as a mechanic. I reuse coolant but I have a pan for coolant. I've seen what happens when you induce contaminates. That's worse case mind you .
What do you think about cutting the trunk lid on the rally Miata and welding some sort of walls around your spare wheels? That way you could have two separate trunks in the back, which would open more easily and be more functional

have you thought about re using the coolant? just make sure the bucket is clean before you use it and/or throw a coffee filter into a funnel and filter it
There should be a bushing inside the tailshaft housing. If that is worn, you will never get it to stop leaking. Make sure you replace that when you do the tailshaft seal.
If its not cold out, Don't put coolant in it. Just use water and water-wetter. That way if you have a blowout at the track, you dont slick the track down. No more wasted coolant either when you have to fix it.
Caltracs is the way to go had them on my Dakota 5.2 manual v8 I learned to drift on. Really really helped. I’m sure being handy you’ll make your own but it’s 100% a must.
Truck is awesome my man. Keep up the good work. I too have the same exact year make and model Mazda B2200. Just got done restoring everything but paint. It too is red. That’s why I get such a kick out of seeing your truck with the setup it has. Awesome choices on everything you have done to it.
Gingium this is the first video I've been notified of/recommended since you installed the wheels in the back of the Miata. Not sure what to do with this information but yeah.
Gingium if u do boost do a procharger not centrifugal more power and easier setup more boost and no hole in good cause top mount would prolly need a hole in the hood to fit but procharger can just go on the side. Procharger basically sets up like a turbo. Just a tip that's what me and my dad r doing. P.s we have a 1976 chevy mudtruck with a 540 procharged big block and we make about 1600 hp
Man, do a subtle widebody to the truck and a lip spoiler so you can lower it, it would look even nicer, or even add a chin to it to take advantage of that tiny muscle air that the truck has. Keep on modding that truck, it's an amazing drift machine 🔥🔥🔥
Never seen one of your videos before, but it came up in suggestions and thought I'd check it out. A three link with a watts link will give you more movement with less bind and will keep the wheels properly centered on the vehicle during roll. It's not as important during linear roll, but in transitions from corner to corner, as the truck flips from roll one direction to the other, you might actually be able to feel it shift with a roll bar and it can make the rear a touch less predictable. Shoot me a message if you want some help designing the system. I've not done a mazda, but i've done S10s.
Gingium you should come to the drift event later this month in Minnesota I’d love to meet you! I get super excited seeing the notification about you’re recent videos getting posted I always stay up to date and I would never miss one! I’d love for you to do a review on my 1989 Pontiac trans am gta it’s damn near bone stock but it’s an awesome car!
Awesome work as always bro! Looked like you forgot to tighten the bolt that attaches the harness to the right side top of the manifold. @ 9:54 you thread it in with your finger then covered it up with the lines or at least it appeared that way. No biggie.
When you do the centrifugal supercharger, get one with straight cut gears for an epic sound. Look up Chevy Caprice PPV supercharged for an idea on the sound. It's a perfect mix of a supercharger and turbocharger sound.
I would get that axle wrap thats causing the wheel hop under control. That is going to be a contributing factor to the trans leak with that pinion angle going up and down plunging the driveshaft back and forward. Ladder bars would help until you 4 link the suspension.
(about 4-link) What you think about adding a vertical bars and making pushrod suspension? Like that civic on youtube, pushrods up vertically through bed and through the 90 degree angle pivot, making horizontally laying coilovers (f.e. From miatas rear)
It WOULD be really cool, but with the size of the engine bay the only way to get a good amount of power is with boost. There's no room for ITB's and good headers :(
Would like to see a compressor instead like a true hommage of the Rally Miata former glory Edit : and really who doesn't wanna a big hood scoop on that? 😁
@@_Gingium_ ruclips.net/video/8ivUbc1fAEQ/видео.html every problem has a solution :D But I also understand the hp/money problem... Either way it will be awesome
Yo, I know it's a street truck and all, but you should run only one headlight at all your drift events. But make an intake for the truck that puts the filter in the headlight spot. Then for street use you can just swap the intake right back to the one you have already sp you can have your headlight. I think it would look super dope while drifting and prolly help some with your overheating maybe. Who knows lol.

You should look into EVANS coolant. Waterless and reusable coolant (as long as you dont blow a head gasket and it gets nasty lol). Running it on my Miata, and its been working like a charm
Hell yeah, I had a bad virs solenoid on my probe, when I got that thing fixed that thing moved real good in the lower rpm's, up to breaking the law before I can even realize it
If you haven't already. Should have changed the starter while you had the intake off. For those who don't know...That's where the starter is on the 1uz engine
Whoever said these VVTI 1UZs have aluminum rods is an idiot. These have powdered steel rods, just not as thick as the rods of the first gen 1UZ. Nothing throwing first gen rods or Argo forged rods cant fix. Dont spread misinformation about this motor if you dont know squat. Also, these heads are fine. They breathe the same as 2UZ/3UZ heads. When you go to 4 Link the back of your Mazda why don't you look at using a Watts link instead of a panhard bar

They make kits to use the Eaton off the 03-04 Terminator, 8 psi of boost . You can also use a bigger pulley to drop some psi .
