Usually depends some are combo packs meaning it could come with a strap, cheap amp, cables, and some picks my advice is to look on guitar center or sam ash website under the 4 string bass category refine the search to low-high and if you're on guitar center make sure you also refine the search to the condition being new

It is really exciting to see women taking up this instrument as their own. I remember when John Entwisle set a new standard and pushed the bass into the foreground with the Who, now that level of competency is the norm. My daughter is 17 and she already plays better than I do... and why not? The arguments for gender inequality are no longer defensible. An accomplished bassist is as respectable now as any other performer. It would not be surprising to see women in the upcoming generation breaking new ground technically as well as artistically.
