Good review, its a shame how this mod ended up being, because it looked amazing. If you want to do BF 1942 mod reviews, then check out OG forgotten hope and 1918, they are some amazing mods.
@@ChrisTGamingZone No problem, 1942 is very fun even if the AI might be dumber than in 2. I always preferred forgotten hope 1 over 2 because of its sheer content tbh
Yeah, sadly majority of them now just jump the trend of taking Battlefield 4 assets and becoming a generic asset-flip. Worst of all is seeing such a classic project like Nations at War turn like this, feels like the ultimate betrayal.

This mod is really frustating. I downloaded this mod yesterday and finally deleted it because of it's extreme instability. The mod is really messy. Good review.

@@ChrisTGamingZone No bro literally, I thought that with 8 gb ram NAW will run quiet well on my machine, but it didn't and after playing for 5 mins on a map, the mod suddenly crashes to my desktop. Really bro It was a quiet misreable experience. Even downloading of this mod wasted so much of my time.
Unlimited Action is an upcoming mod that improves the original Battlefield 2 experience instead of replacing assets with custom ones. It's still in development though, so you will have to wait a little :D
Aaaah yes, i had been looking forward to this since you said you are gonna do a review on stream :D And fact that mod is a pain to install and even after installing it you have to do troubleshooting and game already has issues and errors before even launching it.....thats not a good sign :D Crashes,loading long as on my pc with broken hdd on your ssd,visual glitches :D and yes also..stolen assets left and right ,i think the new NaW is really a downgrade to old one that even actually had the nations and their flags at their classes and every class was actually from diffferent nation.... thats why it was called nations at war... if it was bugfixed,polished,weird acid trip meme maps removed,much less stolen assets specially from PR,less of Bf4 wannabe assets,i think it would be a much better mod,because gunplay and sniping actually does not look bad,except of the 1-shot kill pistols and Op dmrs,i actually loved that L85A2 and the snipers. I also kinda like the vehicles,specially those that were custom. But the intense amount of bugs even before launching,long loading times,freezes,visual glitches,poor polish is a putoff for me. And ooooh my god the Dino map with actual dinosuars on a Jungle map from Alpha Project? What the....Eff was that? :D remidns me of that Xenomorph map you played on stream where you could steal guns as a Xeno and shoot humans... lmao,idk what the creator was on while making these maps but its hillarious,almost like some sort of meme maps :D "if some previous replays on projects were slaps to the face,this one was a kick to the nutsack " summed it up very well,i would rather play original NaW,which i havent played yet but on videos it looked quite awesome,i remember watching it long time ago thinking it was really cool :D this was such a downgrade,its like going from Bentley to old rusty broken Yugo or Lada Zhiguli that has some stickers slapped on it to look cool. Ain't nothing worse than waiting 60 years for a location to load. I swear, I actually made myself tea and even took a leak before locations loaded during the recording of this gameplay. Dinosaur map gameplay took less than actual asset load for the thing, which is simply incredible to witness. In any case, avoid this Standalone build at all costs mate, until heavy fixes are applied to it. If an RTX 3080 struggles to run this mod, I highly doubt lower-end PC's would handle it well. Of course its a kick in the nutsack, ruining a huge classic mod and making it a generic Battlefield 4 copy-pasta. Thank you for watching, and catch you soon with better mods (I hope) xD
You should do an update. It's been worked on extensively since this review and is unrecognizable from five months ago. You can stop by our Discord and play with the developers, which now include the NWM modders. We're there daily playing it.
I feel the best mods are still Heat of Battle, Alpha Project and AIX 2.0. Undisputed champions of Battlefield 2 mods.
