Really amazing to see how much creative freedom these girls have and how much they contribute from start to finish, so refreshing to see in this industry also the fact that the girls are allowed to get "taboo" stuff--Chisa's neck/back tattoo, Jurin's septum piercing, Maya's belly button ring and ofc Cocona with the buzz cut I have NEVER seen that kind of freedom in K-pop or any -pop adjacent for an idol group

So that's a pretty cool fyi I learned the past few days. Also this is only another pre-release like Something Ain't Right was and I think Woke Up was too so I'm excited to hear the title track along with the entire album. Should be fun. If you watch the original music video for Prism by M-Flo, which is where the sample comes from, you'll see it has kind of the same feel as this music video, so the visuals make more sense. Plus when Jurin says "global astro vehicle" that's also a line from Prism! And I'm just speculating, but Cocona had a shaved head as a kid too, so it's obviously a style she feels comfortable with. I wouldn't be surprised if she keeps it going for awhile.
Its Girl Gang and always has been Girl Gang Only one vowel removed (GRL) and the A was flipped over turned to a V (GVNG) The V represents the ALPHAZ logo. GRL GVNG 7 letters for 7 Members with ALPHAZ included.
Yeah but I also think it can be a stylistic choice. I've seen others use it. There's American rock band PVRIS = Paris and Scottish band Chvrches which uses V in place of a U. Maybe to stand out more although XG and their team may have had different reasons.
Also, don't take Simon too seriously. I'm pretty sure he was joking about it being Girl Giving, even though Girl Giving does make more sense to someone who isn't heavy into the fandom side.
