XG is the gold standard when it comes to committing to their concept. Every song they've released has only deepened their lore. 1. HESONOO + X-GENE = XG's birth and look to build something new on a new planet 2. GRL GVNG = Facing adversity and displaying their strength in unity (7 = 1) 3. TGIF = Resistance is slowly fading away and their unique characteristics still make them stand out 4. NEW DANCE = Clarifies their peaceful intentions and start finding common ground with the species on the new planet 5. PUPPET SHOW = Inequalities begin to show on the planet and they try to inspire hope and positive change by empowering the weak Woke Up, Something Ain't Right, IYKYK are all also connected to this. I'm sure you're starting to see the bigger picture now.
This release was pure essence for lack of better words - an essence in and of itself; even the visuals look super sensory at the beginning. And, the vocals pick each other up perfectly - Harvey is especially a powerhouse with complementing a song's tone effortlessly! This was ingeniously made and the result is timeless, similarly to the legendary Aespa - Savage. (They're very different, don't get me wrong - but they seem to both have achieved pure essence.) The vision and execution seems to have been crystal clear with the MV! I love pure essence concepts that you can really feel!
they sampled from mflo's song prism. but they changed some of the beat that it feels like now. however i also like mflo's version. they are so good. gives me nostalgic feeling of japan in the 2000s

Simon “JAKOPS” also included the OG Japanese Rapper VERBAL as a feature in his WOKE UP Remix that has both KOREAN and JAPANESE RAPPERS collaborating. You must hear it….its Xtraordinary. I think based on the prereleases so far we might get a house edm heavy album - with Woke up being the only outlier, I think they might drop some RnB ballads because the last tracks are rumored to be Space Meetings (TT), I still love you, In the rain, Howl and Howling being the intros similar to Hesonoo xgene
