Awesome video I had same problem bro mine stayed on and completely drained five wet cell deep cycles. I don't use it now no problems with my wet cell bank in months. Glad you caught it and it didn't harm anything
If you look it up there was a recall on em In 2019 were they was saying they was running peoples battery down and catching fire look up ioxus battery recall that’s why they going for 150$ instead of 400$
I've had a couple of those. But never had any issues with it draining my battery. Also I believe the lights on stay on until they see something like a .2v drop after turning the vehicle off. I have to check the manual again to be 💯. But I remember mine staying on for a bit. But like I say I never had any battery problems.
Thanks for the info, yea making vids is hard...I have 2 iox in parallel, no issues yet but ill keep alook out. Bats and power and lithium scare the 5hit out of me...had a tiny and i mean tiny vap lithium batt burn on me once and it was the most aggressive fire ive ever dealt with, almost like thurmite. Once its on it only goes out when starved of oxygen. Water makes it worse. Be safe 🙏
I have the same cap and my lights stays on make sense I thought it would shut off but most of the time it’s on I think that’s why my battery light was on make sense now it’s staying on and draining my battery’s I have to add a battery isolator just like you did now dam this hole time thanks man
That can definitely be a wtf is going on here kind of moment 😂 Goat you found the problem. I still have my old lightning cell cap about the size of a normal battery sbx-1500 from way back. Even though I'm running lithium in the back, do you think it would make a difference to add the cap? The lithium is the d4s 6.0 powering the surge 4k at .5 ohm and skar 150.4 Thanks man for sharing your experience, isolators definitely help ✌️
@CarAudioEnthusiasts I'm thinking between the lithium and amplifier would benefit me the most? Is that wrong? Nothing is quick about adding or removing anything in this, I really appreciate your input

Never had this issue . Running for over a year with 80ah Headway bank with the Ioxus isolated from a single lead acid up front.
i think its random

lithium is great for storing power, and releasing it, but a cap will always be faster at releasing power. itll help smooth out the power to the amp.

@@undernature2799 youre on the right track, the amp will pull the most from the closest source of power,
@CarAudioEnthusiasts thanks a million ✌️
Going through other videos now
What about adding a heavy duty battery switch?
will need to handle hundreds of amps
What isolator are you using?

What the best isolater to use for the cap

Is the stinger 500 good
Do your self a favor and get rid of that cap bank and isolator.
@@bassgh0st curious why?
