  • King Kurt at their messiest best. Digitised from an off-air VHS years ago, volume boosted a bit. Recorded for Scottish Borders TV. The show, Bliss, seemed to be broadcast in two runs, one more of a magazine show and the second run focussing on one group's performance as on this recording.
    Tracklist;
    Do The Shag
    Lonesome Train
    Billy
    Bowland Fen Decoy
    Banana Banana
    Pumping Pistons
    Road To Rack 'N' Ruin
    Gather Your Limbs

    Saw them in 1987, Easter weekend at the Astoria in London. Smeggy was lowered down from the ceiling on a cross! Then the wheel of Misfortune was spun and the punter spewed larger everywhere lol.

      We saw them lots of times in the 80's. I'm nearly 61 now. Good fun without being too violent like the other psychobilly bands such as the Meteors or Gwana Batz. First time I saw Meteors in Hull someone jumped on my back and smacked me in the eye. I threw him on the floor hard and broke his collar bone. That was in the first few minutes. It got really violent sometimes. At least with King Kurt if you fell over on the slippery wet floor covered in flour and water, they would pick you up. I filmed a local band called the GRIP in the 90's and put the old blurred videos on here. ruclips.net/video/qM3nTyl4euA/видео.html
