Your timing on this is incredible Im mid design on a Peltier based cooling system for a friend and came back to your channel for some swamp cooler design review for part of that project.... and here's a peltier solution with the power supply i was looking at to boot. Normal problem of needing to vent that heat out of the space but still useful projects as always.
glad i could help! one solution to vent it would be to use a 3 or 4 inch dryer hose. you could slide it over the end of the heatsink, bend it to the shape and clamp it on with a worm gear clamp. then direct the other end of the hose out a window (through a piece of plywood mounted in the window). just drill 2 round holes (with a hole saw the same size as the dryer hose) and slide the hose through or seal it to the plywood the same way i do in many of my solar thermal air collectors and air heaters. note. use a 200mm or 300mm heat sink so there is plenty of space on the heat sink for the clamp.

My idea (one of them anyhow) was to run an insulated hose (hot supply) using a block the same size as the module. sandwiching two modules hot sides to the same block and running a supply through a wall to a 120mm radiator. Adds complexity for sure... and a pump res combo. Im more or less building an aquarium cooler on steroids. So ive got the pumps, hoses and waterblocks already in the budget...
hi. yes, should work good outdoors. if i was going to vent this, i would probably set it up by a window or a door and just pipe the heat out using a "make shift" vent (attached at the ends of the heatsink). to keep the tubing or vent as short as possible.

I've been trying to figure out a way to cool down this metal box (yes, it has insulation but still...) without having to be on the grid. I have solar and batteries but as we all know the cooling part is tough. A few of these for the dog and me could make all the difference. Thanks for posting this!

all 6 red wires (from the 4 fans and 2 pelter chips) are twisted together (and all 6 black wires too) then just connect those to a thicker length of wire. (i used part of an old extension cord). then that just goes to your 12v power source.

Basically you drill 2 holes in the top to insert the 3/8 inch tubing. Electric cooler can stay cold without ice, you just plug it in and it stays cold
So hi, as you seem to have built just about everything ive wondered about through the years....right now im working on a project....project actic air..looking to set sone world benchnarking records even during tje summer as most of us guys set all our recorda during the winter.. right now im top 3 in the world. But im doing it the hard way.. no water to my gpu. No chiller.. only air...so i was dreaming up somethkng.. do you think a heat exchanger, 18x20 1" inlet abd ouylt...submerged in ice bath with possibly alcohol or salt mixture... with some sory of inline fan pushing ait through it...be effective? Right now i have 1.5 " copper baseboard pipr with 3.5" alluminum fins looped into the water bath and back out....all together 4 ft under the water.. it feels lacking... maybe low 50s.. my cousin a plumber his whole life said this heat exchanger with good cold ice bath could easilly push out sub 40 f air... thats what im after... and it eould rrally make these guys mad if i kept passing them on a non liquid cooled setup...anyways i just pipe the air to my pc and have 4 x arctic p8 max fans on the stock cooler which is a vapor tube 13" heat sink...big bertha i call hetmr...and some honey well ptm 7950 temperature phase change thermal putty on the core...and before it asks... no ive never had condensation problems... was running 0 f air in in feburary...it was seriously good setup.. but after 40s it has diminishing returns due to well it being air....so if i could get anywhere near high 30s.. id be sitting pretty and id rather do it without an expensive chiller unit...i also have about 6 more ft of this baseboard stuff a relative has that was left at their jobsite...but idk if its thr fan being too fast or the aseboard setup not transfering enough...? It looks like it is insabely efficient though? Anyways.. i hope somehow this smg reaches you abd you can help me jerry rig something that sets world records and breaks hmthe hearts of the 5,000 $ water cooling setup guys. Cheers.
I made a prototype to cool water without compressor, it reduced water temperature to 22 degree. Now I don't know how to cool air by indirect air cooler? I don't know which Material or mechanism will work on it ? Please suggest me.
it would be a good experiment. i stayed away from water cooling with this project mainly because then you have the extra steps with water and water pump.

hi. the chip is a peltier chip (or peltier module). those are the flat ceramic square shaped elements. when power is applied to them one side of the peltier gets very hot and the other side very cold. we are using the cold side to produce cold air. it's a little hard to explain in a comment but if you check wikipedia you'll see a good explanation of thermoelectric cooling.

i haven't done much with the waterblocks due to the added level but i really should. maybe in future vids. sounds like you have a good plan 👍

Cut a hole in a board and stick it in a window with the cold side facing in. (The heat stays outside and the cold air stays inside.)

hi. optimally, you would direct the heat out, but it works great as a space cooler because the heat just goes out the sides and up to the ceiling.
