Actually gained a good amount of respect for Roger after this, he was surprisingly open and honest. Giving Pat his draft card was also really cool.

People want action they want scores. The last game I watched a few years ago I was so disappointed went the whole regular time 0-0 extra time 0-0 the only excitement penalty’s kicks at the end soccer too long.

NFL refs genuinely might be the best. And they’re terrible. But they’re definitely better than NBA and NBA where they randomly eject players because their feelings hurt. I don’t watch enough hockey to form an opinion on their refs.

On the schedule length expansion why could you not just also increase the roster size to 60? allows for more rotation, more break opportunities for players to break out and burst onto the scene etc.

Well, they don’t necessarily draft law, but they have the final say on them. Judicial review is a whole lot more than just interpretation of the law. If a law is judged unconstitutional, they can get rid of it. Then, once they’ve gotten rid of that law, it sets precedence for what laws can and can’t be made moving forward. So while they don’t “make” laws, they certainly have a great deal of influence over what the laws are.

I think it goes over peoples heads that although most of us actually used to resent Roger a ton, hence the booing. Then he actually turned into quite a decent commish given everything that’s transpired and now he’s in on the boo Roger thing. Kind of like a good heel vibe. It’s a rib forsure.

If you want full time officials, here's how to do it. Find 16 corporate sponsors willing to put their brand on an officiating crew. They would be based in non NFL cities. The refs will work for the franchise, wear their brand, and be hired/fired by their own boss. The idea is to make the brands compete to have the highest graded officiating crew, therefore putting them in the marquee matchups and playoff games. The officials will have free agency and a draft and all kinds of other things to monetize. Just find the 16 brands. The Dorito's crew gets SNF this week, Coca Cola gets MNF, Amazon gets the Chiefs vs Raiders, and the RUclips crew blew a lot of calls last week so the get the Falcons vs Commanders
