Everybody is talking about the squirrel, but how many are mentioning the adorable little cinibun that is the meat baby? Or for that matter how stellar the animation is, both cutscene and in game?
I also kinda expected Nugget to start punching Fetus around after the animals all came in and got demolished. Hell, the time void was a great excuse to make her playable, excepting the fact that she turned into sparkles and flew away.
I feel like the villain of this didn’t deserve to die. He realized someone actually cared he could’ve been turned. But hey idk Edit: I thought he died, but he didn’t.

My thought process throughout this was feeling bad for the animals. Then having a feeling the brain would help them. Then when I saw the clock I knew a timewarp would happen. When the baby gave the binky (or however you spell it) to Dr. Fetus, I had a feeling he would be happy and then get punched. And finally at the end, when Dr. Fetus held the binky in his hands and smiled, I literally cried. I have never cried to any video game character that much before. Even if it was a squirrel or baby.
I like to think that Dr fetus decided to leave the original meatboy alone because of nugget showing him how he shouldn't be constantly seek revenge in people who have moved on so instead he decides to take revenge using the clones as a substitute "Not the original but close enough" I imagine him saying

I never played or heard of this game at first I thought it was a platformer but with each cutscene I kept getting more attached and I understood and related to whats happening, from the squirrel to the fetus and his new found pacifier Each cutscene made me have the feels even without context and dialogue this hit me in spots most movies, books and other things dont, and I love it.
I think both this and the original Meat Boy are fantastic games! You should totally get the original game if you get the chance since it’s an actual platformer. It’s super old but certainly a lot of fun!
My favorite part about it is that Meat Boy is like "Fetus. The Fuck? Stop teaching my kid rude hand gestures" while Bandage girl is laughing her ass off.
