veigar and nasus are the only champs that can build either type of damage and still deal a lot of both.
Imagine getting killed by a Veigar that builds AD, and you are the ADC.
I just want to leave this here for everyone. There are a TON of mages that can buy Gunblade and then go crit on. The single item Gunblade gives you enough AP on most mages to insta clear the wave with abilities, denying plates, towers, and tower dives, while giving you free gold. Mana can be an issue if you don't take both manaflow and presence of mind, but you can take manamune or essence reaver second. This crit mage build is so hard for the enemies to play against because you have wave clear, self peel (two things adcs lack), and to top it off you have no down time since you toss crits when you are waiting on cool downs. Plus the healing from Gunblade. Try it out.

Well, some people don't see the point in normals, so they try everything in ranked.
The best about this build is that you will one shot from autos and spells in late game cause of his passive.
Also your enemies look like you are paying them to int.

Ezreal? OP? No not really. He falls off so hard late that he can't compare to other ADC's unless he can win the mid game so hard that the enemies can never catch up.
