@talhausman15 I noticed that the front cam is close to reality, like almost same to iPhone front cam. The back cameras are great. Video recording is also good here. The battery life last a little longer.

Idk why people complain about the bezel being thick. Do u really want it to look like the Samsung s24? They gave u a premium build and cut corners when designing the bezel that's a fair trade considering its a budget phone.
I just got my Samsung A55 in ice blue a week ago & I Love it.I was going to get the S24 coz my husband has the it & honestly the A55 is almost as good as the S24 I really don't regret my choice.I got a premium looking phone at a cheaper price especially coz I purchased cash I'm glad I saved the money😅

I am using Samsung A52s 5G for the last 2.5 years.My major complain is that Samsung has degraded the camera quality by huge level with updates.So I am disappointed a bit.
I agree with you my a53 take amazing picture before the upgrade like good night time photo as well, most pone from other brand around these price couldn't have good camera but when they bring update seem like they downgrade the camera even the redmi note 9 pro seem to take better photo than my a53 right now😢
Thank you for making this review. I am considering getting this phone. I dont game on my phone, mostly watch YT or movies. One of the few reasons why I am considering the A55 is because of the option to expand storage with a micro SD to 1tb.
FYI the A55 chip actually scored higher than a SD 7 gen 2 in both Antutu and Geekbench. So no one should say this is an underpowered midrange because the Realme 12 pro+ with SD 7 gen 2 is more expensive than this!
Watching this on my A55. It's weird that this phone is almost 550 USD in India and Europe. In my country it's around 400 USD which makes it a good deal considering the competition.

I still got the Galaxy s10. Is the a55 better? Im looking mainly for a better camera, with a bigger display and at least 256gb and dont wanna pay more than 500-600
Best to go to the shop to compare. I returned the s24+ for the A55 because the camera is so much better. I can't believe for so much money they are selling phones that take blurry, grainy and often out of focus photos.
How are the thermals? Is it better than Exynos 1380 in the A35? If its more efficient then it should have lower temps and longer battery. Please test this also.
In the video, it's stated that it has better temps than the a54 when gaming, and judging by the fact that the a35 has the same chipset as the a54, then it's safe to say the thermals on the a55 is better
I’ve purchased the A55 last week Friday and I’m very happy with the build quality and the fantastic screen and the phone has micro-SD memory expansion. Great for binge watching and endless scrolling.
5:32 A54 also had a vapor chamber, but with Exynos 1380 it was getting pretty hot, so in case of A55 it's probably the better 1480 chip that contributes a bunch to cooler operation.
I just got my A55 & the vivid color is pale just like the issue with the S24 series after they released. I hope Samsung fix this with an update too with the vivid slider.
Ma'am I got this phone A55 5G yesterday.Its difficult to hold.Has a good heft added by putting metal and glass making it difficult to handle esp by a female.All the more its brittle which means easily breakable ,the day it falls am sure some degree of harm would surely happen making it unusable. Above all UI speed is even slower than my F23 5G (2.5 year old). The performance is certainly not an added factor in this as it doesnot seem one should even try gaming on this one.Further the first experience is that someone called my wife and she could not listen at other end.This repeated twice.Then I made a Contacts-Phone-Deleted data storage.Second step Reset all settings and restarted.Since then it working but certainly from objective of a smartphone standpoint if you place forward to a customer at cost of 37000/- INR ,it's not justifiable...This is at max 17000/- deserving.

Actually, I'm not sure, but I do have some doubts about whether it's a good deal to go for a mid-range product. I always think it might be better to buy a refurbished or second-hand phone that is two or three years old, or even older, which would cost the same price, but at least you're getting something that was considered high-end at the time. For the same price, you get something that is mid-range-is it really worth it after all? Wouldn't it be better to spend 500 euros on an old flagship that was top-of-the-line at its release rather than spending the same amount on something mediocre that you will keep for several years? That's the question I'm pondering.

Same A51 is an amazing, slim and lightweight phone! I feel like I would see a jump in performance if I get the A55, obviously because it is the latest phone. But A55 is bulky af, I have tried jolting it and it is huge.

had the phone for 2 months now. At first I was very worried with the thermals but I found out it was just the phone getting used to my usage. A few days after, I got its first software update, and I noticed it got significantly cooler in normal tasks. Performance wise, it is definitely good enough for me as a non gamer. I do play games but not too often and it performs good I would say. It does warm up from time to time but it is when I do tasks in a warm room. So yeah I suppose the performance is alright
Idk why , but the white in samsung amoled screens is not pure white , more likely into grayish tone and thats really noticeable when you hold another amoled screen in hand
Very balanced review. If gaming is the priority, then this is not the phone. For every thing else, A55 is very good. Samsung S23 FE has better camera quality but one of the worst battery life. OnePlus 12R is good for gaming and battery life but has ordinary camera. One can decide according to his priority.
A series phone should have dedicated SD card slot or have the option to go for 512 GB and higher. 256 is enough at all with high resolution cameras and 4K video shooting options
Samsung has launched A55 with just two colors in India and those are the light blue and dark blue which kinda looks like black.😢 I wish they had launched it with yellow color. Looks so nice.

Samsung still going cheap with those exynos chips. Last good A series phone was the A52s with SD 778G. My A52s gets better framerates than the shown A55 on some games. 30fps on pubg is just terrible

Colors looked so washed up to me but maybe they make it closer to natural colors.

My issue with exynos is it does not support AAC codec. My A35 only runs bluetooh earbuds on SBC codec

Nice looking phones but 2 problems.. Exynos and no headset jack yeah i know m still old school but i need that jack especially on mid range phones anf that price too
Watching this on my A55 phone feels premium, if you are not gamer and need a feel good , data secure phone and want to avoid the chinese phones go for Samsung .

@@Jeehhh I had heating issue at start and post software upgrades not facing heating issues.
Samsung still going cheap with those exynos chips. Last good A series phone was the A52s with SD 778G. My A52s gets better framerates than the shown A55 on some games. 30fps on pubg is just terrible
