Samuel vi Britannia Pretty sure he always used Marth against Bayo, he used Corrin because he was inspired to after he himself played FE Fates.
Lavi_MarioStickMan12 he lost several sets to Salem with Marth, and won the first one with Corrin. He's used Corrin in every set against Bayo until like two tournaments ago.

ZeRo's loser's run here really reminds me of his run at GENESIS 4. At both GTX and G4, ZeRo was upset early on in pools and made an insane losers run until he defeated in LFs

Sammy Aran but cloud is easy to use so maybe playing cloud takes some pressure off him as other add pressure because they are harder to get damage going
Leo is the best Cloud player in the world, and Cloud is his third best character. He does not play Cloud simply as an answer, but because he actually knows how to play him. Plus, Leo had already won 3-0 Against ZeRo using nothing but Marth - no Cloud, and he even gave him the 2-stock he promised to give him in the last game, with a 0-Death at the first stock. So, no, Leo never thought Cloud was the answer to everything. He relies more on Marth and Corrin nowadays anyway.

This is the set that killed ZeRo. Not the 3-0 in the next week's tournament from Salem. Salem's 3-0 was quicker, but this is the set that shook ZeRo's confidence and brought his godhood down to everyone else's level. ZeRo was officially dethroned by this set.

Uhm, Leo has 3 S tier events under his belt (ZeRo Saga, Genesis 4 and GTX) and Nairo 2 (Smash Con 2016 and 2017). ZeRo has the most, then Leo with 3, then Nairo and Salem (EVO 2017 and DH Atlanta) with 2 and then Ally (EVO 2016), Dabuz (Civil War) and ANTi (CEO 2016) with 1.

I think ZeRo shit his pants when the Meta Knight came out, because he thought he'd never have to face that character again. And he adapted so well each game but there just wasn't quite enough steam to win it. And I like Meta Knight but I like ZeRo even more and I wish he had won

Ito is not even nearly as good of a MK player as Abadango or Tyrant anyway.
Angel Mendez-Rivera tyrant said on his stream that ito was better than him and aba praises ito a lot for how good of a player he is. Ito's mk has the most optimized punish game out of all top level mks and his neutral is very strong (albeit not on the level of Leo or Aba). If Tyrant can beat leo ito definitely could as well.

ZeRo is easy still first. But after this set, MKleo looks pretty solid in this season, even with some fail events.
Easy TOP 5, probabily only ZeRo, Nairo and Salem have better results, but the season is still long.

Yukicraft Simply put Diddy outneutral MK for most of the match slowing down his approach option (dash attack and dash grab) but MK's ladder is very effective on Diddy plus Diddy doesn't want to be offstage with MK since MK can hit him out of his recovery very easily
