Some what of an irrelevant question, but do you happen to know if the motherboard has to be removed in order to replace the keyboard? I have the very same laptop and your video would have to be the only one I have found where your laptop has the same exact setup inside as mine. All the videos I have seen to replace the keyboard have the keyboard wire exposed more so and they can easily slip it through that black plastic piece with the slit in it. I had cut out my old keyboard after failing to feed it through and let me just say that it is a nightmare to try and get the keyboard replaced. It is a very reliable laptop and I never had trouble with it and I just don't want to have to tear it all apart if I don't have to and I really don't just want to toss it out.

No, you don't have to remove MB. Access is simple from the palmrest area
