An interesting body cap lens. For the price I think it should have filter thread for caps etc. Body cap lenses like the Olympus Mu-43 one have a focus stop for close up which is nice. For the price of this lens in Australia I think focus stops should be a must.
S1 makes good jpegs?

Here's real video shot with the 26mm f8 lens: ruclips.net/video/-E1-2y6VvxI/видео.htmlsi=2vDbcDXojw7dCdki
For $200 this is a joke. They should have bundled it for free with the S9. Or made a proper AF lens with f/2.8 like the pancakes from Canon and Nikon.
It is free with the S9 in the US if you order the S9 before June 29th. Still not worth it!
@@markr041 Well, that's something. I agree it's still mostly useless though:)
It is bundled for free with the S9 though. But I agree, nobody should buy it for $200. For $50, maybe.
@@Wildridefilms Is that offer limited to a specific store? I don't see it bundled on B&H and similar
@@yawningmarmot It was an offer only for S9 preorders (up to June 29).
I would call this a fun lens if it was under $120. $200 is inexcusable when certain toy lenses perform better at a cheaper price.
Someone has opened it and moded it to F4
link?
When Canon has a 28mm f2.8 which is just little bit thicker- this lens is a sad joke!
It's a piece of junk - manual focus , fixed f8. LOL
