Hey friends, I've been getting a lot of messages asking about my excellent Faith FG1 acoustic guitar. You can now receive a 15% discount on any Faith guitar by entering the promo-code "SWIFT" at bit.ly/2S9P1Wi. This is my guitar bit.ly/3n3yiCk (Faith Legacy Series. FG1HCE)
I’m a staunch Marty music fan and find it hard to learn from others. Patience has also been my nemesis since about 1992. I play the rhythm part well but the bends and country feel of the solo always baffled me. I’ve now learned it and can play it right through within 30 mins of seeing this. Thanks man! 👏👏👏
Its funny that you mention that it sounds country. I've been a huge GNR fan for thirty odd years and my dad was a huge old school country fan and disk jockey. Every time he'd hear this tune he'd say that it sounded more country than a lot of country coming out in recent times. He liked this song.
Great explanation on how the chord related to the notes on what shape bar chord and everything else. Have been looking for such explanation guitar channel for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many years. BIG THANK YOU!!!!!
High quality lesson, as always. Bless you for making an effort and breaking what the soloes structure is, and not just frets. Very helpful for one's trying to get decent at guitar.
Thanks join.....thank god...i met someone like you......your lesson@tutorial.....is pretty easy to learn....very clear explanation....you made it so easy for a beginner like me to learn this legendary song.🤟🤟🇲🇾..from Malaysia
Rob, I search this lesson seems like every 6mo. This is an epic 80s classic, however everytime I see a tutorial it's split lesson. I was hoping you could possibly create a single version tutorial that merges the rhythm with some lead solo riffs. I would be so grateful.
Thanks. I enjoy the foundational theory parts. Helps build over time. Starting to tackle lead to learn the techniques. One song I wish had a good lesson is Eagles "I Can't Tell You Why." ( There is no tier 1 instructor lesson, not even a tier 2 - you're tier 1 :-) ) Don's lead parts are classic and good earlier lead practice, but a quality lesson like this would help, or possibly just a song lesson.
Just looked it up - "Glenn Frey played lead guitar on this song, which was rare at the time since Don Felder or Joe Walsh usually played lead, relegating Frey to rhythm." "In 1980, the band promoted the rock ballad[9] with a music video which featured Schmit on bass guitar accompanied by Frey on the electric piano, although Frey recorded the guitar solos as it is printed on the LP inside sleeve, with Henley on the drums, Don Felder on the electric guitar, Walsh on the organ and Walsh's touring sideman Joe Vitale on ARP string synthesizer. Joe Walsh played all the keyboards on the studio recording."
Man you are the greatest teacher on RUclips. Although I was surfing your lessons and I learnt some of yours jazz lessons and I thought of giving a jazzy song request, can you please do ((let's get lost)) by chet baker. Lots of peace and love to you❤️✌️
Great lesson as always. 👍 I’ve recently purchased the faith legacy Neptune, what plectrum/pick do you use or recommend ?also strings? I’m using elixir hd lights at the moment. Thanks
Please, what kind of guitar and strings are you using in this video? The bends and vibratos are so hard in my guitar. Looking this way it seems easy to play, the strings don't seem so hard. Thank you..
Good day Sir, quick question I know this epic song has 3 guitar parts and every single lesson is a split screen of acoustic part and electric part. I was hoping you could create a compiled single acoustic version of this amazing acoustic GnR piece. Thank you and have a great day.....
