@@tremorsfan He was a big theater guy, and was lucky to get a huge break on Seinfeld. without that tv show, we would have been like so may other singer/dancer/ actors toiling away for live crowds - which he still does.!
I watched an interview where the actor was relieved to get the Seinfeld role since he most recent work before ther was “Pretty Woman”, where he tries to rape Julia Roberts, so his character was hated for it.
He did a great job in A Funny Thing Happened on A Way To The Forum as Pseudolus. He sang Comedy Tonight and the favorite Everybody Ought To Have A Maid.
Jason has a great singing voice, but I really wish they'd have let him sing this live. It always seems a bit off when actors lip sync to their prerecorded songs.
@@calldwnthesky6495 Out of pure curiosity, what about this video strikes you as so pretentious? The movie itself is fairly obscure, and less than 30 years old. The comments are appreciative, but not gushing. Besides, let’s be honest, half of the people here just came to make Seinfeld references.
I never thought a ‘95 film could have that same feeling as if it came out in ‘65! This is awesome!
I'm happy I found this performance.....by Mr Alexander.
It’s easy to see what Marisa Tomei saw in him.
Yeah, for 2 minutes.
Got that reference!
He's irresistibly charming!
But I still can't help thinking there might be a shyster underneath that charm.
BRO Jason is a stud
She is so musical in the way she moves.
Wow! I had no idea he could do that.
Best Toupee in a Supporting Role ... the Jason Alexander rug in BBB.
Thanks to upload this! I love Bye Bye Birdie, and specially this number! The girl is adorable and graceful, and Jason Alexander did it spectacular!
When I first heard about this movie I assumed Jason Alexander would just be acting like George on Seinfeld.
why - did you think Jason Alexander wasn't acting on Seinfeld???? He was a broadway personality way before his TV days.
@@maestromuffin1 I'd never seen him in anything else.

I’ve been waiting for someone to post this. Thank you.
Me too.
He’s very good but all I could think of watching this was the toupee scene from Seinfeld. “I WAS bald”
Pipe down, chorus boy.
So next to this, was Seinfeld a waste of Jason's talent or lighter, more relaxing work?
The episode where he had the singing answering machine, he had to redo it where he sounded dull because he sang it so well the first time.
@@lordalessan That sounds like Jason, but if that's the case, then George sucks!

@@lordalessan You're referring to Jason Alexander, right?
Seinfeld made a crap ton of money...
They're very good.
She dances better than Elaine.
I did this for my theater camp! I got to do a solo in a duo (trio but duo for singers)
I LIKE THIS VIDEO IT HELPS ME CALM DOWN I JUST PUT ON A HAPPY FACE THIS SONG WOULD BE DAVE COLAVE SONG
He’s cute
Doesn't he have a cute face?
I had no idea that Jason could sing or dance.
that's because he can't

Check him out as Jacob Marley in the 2004 Christmas Carol!
@@calldwnthesky6495 jealous much?
@@maestromuffin1 jealous? that's a big LOL. enjoy the crap show
Could the volume possibly be lower? Yes, /sarc

But you're bald!
Wrong! I...was bald.
An older man telling a younger woman to smile more could be seen as problematic these days
Reminds me of Jerry Lewis and Matthew Broderick
You're BALD!
i WAS bald!
Who is the girl dancing with him?
She´s called Angela Brydon.
Joker
i thought all crap like this was officially ended in 1952
