Hi!😀 gusto sa Cattleya og hayag pero kanang dili pod masunog ilang dahon. Sa watering, it depends on your media. They like to dry out between watering but I have cattleyas in semi hydro and Self watering pots too pero hindi pa nagbloom.🙂 thank you for watching❤️

Cattleyas need direct sunlight , from morning in order them to bloom, and they don't like crowded areas , that is the starting point of scales infestation
Scale is the worst I have problem for years I kept wipe them off with alcohol last mont I tried to use insecticide from amazon spray it after wipe it works !

Hi!😀 Hindi pa ako nagkaroon ng ganyang experience pero fungicides ang para sa fungi. If kayang mong tanggalin mas mabuti siguro. Try mo rin spray or apply hydrogen peroxide or cinnamon powder.
Why tie them up with a plastic? It looks better without the plastic. I hope those flowers finally bloom. Mine was on a Mango tree for several years... it almost never blooms, because its so wild on a tree. Good you didnt use coconut husk.

Reden Mosquito I should have but I don’t have other pots here😅 I think I will have repot them when we are no longer in quarantine, no more covid and when I can go out and buy new pots😀

we almost lost our cattleyas, i dunno what my grandmom did, but how i wish i wanted to see them when im back home. I think spraying with agua oxigenada water can kill these pests. pls do sterilize your pots.
Those are the most annoying orchid insects ever... especially pag established na yung plant tapos kaylangan mo ulit i repot just to remove the scales.😅

You supposed to have a clay poy with holes which is designed for orchids. The roots of your orchids was suffocate without any holes in your pot

The drainage hole is too small for a Cattleya. You should have repotted them in bigger,not necessary taller pot to accommodate its large size.
